First visit to site, so excuse if errors made.

I only wanted to know if I am the only person who finds the soaps such unbelievable rubbish.

Corrie street has a serial killer in their midst, plus his wife is a thief, yet no one seems to notice.

Neighbour, has a pregnant girl who is going to set a world record for the only person who never seems to put on weight or change shape.

East Enders, well all I can say is that I am glad that I do not live anywhere near there, and what's the betting that the writers have Michael up their sleeve to really put the mockers on Kate (will claim baby is his). By the way is Ronnie going to be asked to repay funeral expenses and child benefit she has been receiving?

Rest of soaps just as bad, however stuck with them as wife can't keep her eyes off them.

Sorry if upset anyone, just wanted to get it off my chest.

Welcome leilton! I think you'll find many agree. We moan about the stupidity of storylines all the time. Good point about Ronnie getting benefits. I hadn't thought of it. Bet the writers haven't either. Oops!

I joined this site because I'm a soap fan, and I wanted to exchange opinions and ideas with other liked-minded people.
You'll find that most regular posters don't take it TOO seriously - it's not real after all, but at the same time it's deeply frustrating to watch the soaps these days, watching as the quality deteriorates, mostly to make way for sensationalist crap.
Coronation Street and EastEnders used to be superbly entertaining dramas with a good balance of ideas, original characters and occasional appropriate humour. Now they're just a ludicrous bloodbath.

Welcome to LTS leilton. The great thing about this site is that it`s not just all about soaps - which is great.

Believe it or not but my favourite soap of them all is 'Pobol Y Cwm'. If I was told that I could only watch one soap - PYC would be the one to choose. And I`ve been a direhard fan of Corrie since the early 70`s.
