So Elsie's dead then, Dennis just said she died 6/7 years ago at the age of 81!
Nice scenes with Dennis and Rita - we even heard her refer to herself as Rita Littlewood tonight!

She always was. Just that the only mention of when she died isn't considered canon so not on record. How many even have it?

Good to see Dennis back and chatting to Ken,Rita and Emily
I find it odd that he didn't mention how the street has changed or going into the Rovers didn't say what has happened to the snug and the Select which went right out across Rosamund Street lol

I'm enjoying seeing Dennis back. The reminising scenes are great, hope there are more to come. Lovely to see the expression on Norris's face. ;D

I had hoped that Jack and Annie Walker would`ve had a mention. But it`s early days yet. It is good to see Dennis back though - I`m enjoying his character so much. And how wonderful to have the younger generation be included in the walk down memory lane. I just had a thought - could Dennis and Sylvia Cropper become an item? With the correct script, this could be Corrie at its absolute best.

I wonder if Bill Roache feels a bit put out because he isn't the only original character left now
