I have seen these on the ITV Emmerdale website. I'm not impressed. I used to like the opening paoramic view of the lovely Yorkshire countryside. Why can't they leave well alone.  |

The mid 70`s theme was my fave. I also liked the mid 90`s version.
I can`t say I`m too impressed - but it`s still better than the Corrie one. A year later and I still hate it.

I don't like the Corrie ones either...I think I mentioned it before how odd I find it that they re-film new credits in HD but make it all blurred !!

I don't mind them as much as I thought I would. the logo is awful though.

Awful - looks like they're trying to turn it into a Yorkshire version of some dreadful American show from the past - Dynasty springs ro mind.
Just doesn't work for us.

Horrible.  The only one I like is the final one of the village street. The've knackered up the theme tune too. |

Add me as another one who doesn`t like it and it feels out of sync.
I don`t know whose idea it was to include the Dingels house in the opening credits, but it wasn`t a good one. Rather silly in fact.
As for the music....ugh. And they`l have this theme next year during their 40th Anniversary. It makes a mockery of the whole show.

Everybody should go to the ITV website ..click on the 'contact us' link and complain..the more that do the better chance they will do something.
When eastenders changed its theme tune in 1992 thousands complained and it was changed back

I agree - it looks like a model village; completely unreal.
Nick:- I Jjust tried the 'Contact Us' page on ITV.COM - it's down; probably blew a fuse with all the people complaining! ;D

Steven Todd The new titles are a TV advert for a Range Rover. Pure rubbish. Bring back the nice Yorkshire countryside ITV.

What Emmerdale/ITV should`ve done is make a few title sequences and get the fans to vote on which one they`d prefer, or to keep the one they have already.
