Hi everyone - just wondering if anyone had any information about Sean Gallagher who played Paul Connor - I absolutely loved him and am totally gutted that he left!! I read somewhere that he has a teenage daughter - is that ture?!?!

Hello Maddie.I managed to find all this out..but not if he is married or with children Of Irish and Danish ancestry He is a skilled horseman and croupier. Attended St Edmunds School in Canterbury. Is a passionate anti-drugs campaigner. Is a member of Release. Trained at the English and American Drama School, where he learnt to master several accents. Real accent is South London. Was raised in rural Kent, initially trained as a groom and horseman. His real name is Shaun Michael Curran Hope that is of help  |

I know he has a lead part in a new ITV drama, Rock Rivals I think its called. Due to be shown later this year or early next year. Im glad he has got work after Corrie, he is a great actor.

I know I can't wait for that to be on! I am missing him loads now that he is not on Coronation Street its just not the same without him. I still can't believe that eh left so soon after starting - he wasn't thinking of the people who tuned in coz they fancied him. Tut.
And I ahve since found out that he apparently has a 19-year-old daughter - who knew?! How bizarre is that!!

A friend of a friend of a friend apparently knows his daughter, she confirmed it. No word of what she is called but apparently she is 19. I think he and her mum are split up. Can't believe it!! He's too fit to have a teenage kid!

Nothing wrong with that at all Madison. Im 26 but fancy quite a few men in their 40s. Infact a lot of them are hotter than men in their 20s, Brad Pitt for a start! Sean Gallagher is definately hot.

Nothing wrong whatsoever as Jez says, Maddie. I want to marry Frazer Hines and he's nearly 25 years older than me. I've been kissed and touched up by him many times since 1999 (that year I got 6 kisses in 4 hours and was thrown over his shoulder) and I haven't give up hope yet. LOL!

Sean Gallagher can touch me up as much as he wants! Although I am younger than his daughter I hope he will oversee this potential barrier. he is so fit. Although part of me was excited when I read that him and his onscreen wife Carla (Alison King) were meant to be going out in real life - I thought they would have made a sweet couple if I couldn't have him. but that appears to be untrue so I'll rekindle the dream that I can have him!

Yeah Alison King said in an interview that it wasnt true - she has a fella of her own so Sean Gallagher may be single. You could be in with a chance lol.

I will!! I know him and Carla aren't going out in real life I just thought it would have been nice lol! Seeing as though its pretty obvious that I have no chance! I think my dad would kill me if I went out with someone older than him and his kid probably wouldn't be too happy at him seeing someone younger than her either! Urgh . . . gutted. I'll just have to hope that our paths cross in a bar one night!!
