Just for info, Series 8 (final series) starts on 8th January at 2200 on E4. Not sure if this means it will also be showing on CH4 a few days later, but better than nothing.

I must keep my eye out for this. It sounds like it may not be on Channel 4....a bit mean if this is what they are going to do.

Just watched last ever episode - all loose ends neatly tied up in a logical and totally believable way.
Great series overall - will be missed, but I feel that they stopped at the right time; not much more they could do with any of the main characters.
Only regret is that the wonderfully 'bad' Edie was missing from the parade of 'ghosts' at the end - probably due to Nicolette Sheridan getting into a major row with the producers and their way of getting back at her!

I shall miss the ladies of Wisteria Lane. I found the scenes with Karen McCluskey very sad as the actress had recently died from the same disease her character had. It was lovely the way it all ended on a positive note for the characters. I hate it when they have a cliffhanger then cancel a series.

That's so sad Sooty - I had no idea. She was a great character and an excellent contrast to the others.
