Anyone else had problems with DS lately, whereby the frontpage freezes while it's loading? Then have to Ctrl/Alt/Del to unfreeze the PC.
According to the DS forums, I'm not the only one - just wondered if anyone here had experienced this and found a successful work-around.

It seemed ok with me Paul...but I`m in a different continent to you.
Looks like you aren`t the only one though - so fingers crossed the kinks have been worked out of it.

I've had something similar.
I ended up getting a new tab up, dialing it in again and that worked (whilst the original one was still frozen) !!

Think I've sorted it.
I think problem is that IE8 is getting a bit past-it and can't handle some of the new data/content on some websites. We can't upgrade to IE9 on our PC because Windows XP doesn't support it.
Have therefore switched from IE8 to Firefox, but left IE8 installed in case we get (different) problems with Firefox.
(Our laptops run Vista, but I don't actually like IE9 much, so will probably change them to Firefox as well.)
So far, so good....

Great choice Paul. I have Firefox, and have used it for years. I love it.
I tried Chrome for a month, and although I liked the layout it was such a memory eater that I went back to Firefox.
