Apparently she's on my cruise! I haven't seen her but 4 of my table companions have and say she's not looking too good. Poor thing.

I know Sooty and others aren't on Facebook so here's the link to the pic of me and Liz on my birthday! twitpic.com/bm5uj3 It was the ONLY time I saw her all cruise! She did have trouble getting onto the stage and said she wasn't sure about going after Bill died but she's glad she did because everyone had been so kind. Her hubby Don is nice too. She does lots of cruising apparently. A Facebook friend met her on Crown Princess a few years ago while another on Ventura.

Glad you met her and nice to know she is lovely. Unlike some actors from the same era as Liz! lol.
Btw, my friend met Julie Goodyear at the gates a few weeks ago. Not sure why she was at Granada but someone shouted her from the top gate and she walked down to the main gate and had photos with everyone. Gutted i wasnt there that day but nice to know she is nice enough to do that for fans. I have seen and heard Barbara but not MET her, i doubt i ever will. On one occasion i shouted her name and she practically ran in the other direction another time i heard her shout from her car door to a fan who was trying to meet her (not me) "go away!" lol

Yes possibly. Apparently, after speaking to someone who went to Corrie in the early to mid 1990s, Goodyear was one of the first to stop stopping at the gates. Barbara used to back then. But now the general opinion is that she almost never stops.
