Does anyone know if they are going to mark the 20th anniversary of the plane crash in December..or will it be conveniently forgotten I wonder
Mind you there is only Eric left who was there at the time..but having said that Edna, Zak and Sam are supposed to have lived in the area for years so even though they weren't featured in the series at the time I suppose the were 'there'
It would be a good chance to bring back Michael Feldmann, Nick and Kathy Bates and maybe even Annie Sugden (if Sheila is up for it) to remember loved ones...I mean they can't just ignore a major event like that...can they?
Any thoughts?

Logical though it might be, I very much doubt if any characters will return - I suspect the event might get a brief mention and that'll be it. Can't believe it was only 20 years ago - seems much further back in my mind!

It would be nice if they did something to remember it...depends how good the researchers are at their job I suppose.

Was it New Years Eve it happened? Or was that the big storm where Tricia died?

Thank you Nick. I do seem to recall Christmas lights at the Woolpack now I think about it. I saw the plane crash in its entirety last year thanks to You Tube, and it was superbly done. I hope it won a lot of awards in 1994
