The live ep wasn't so bad - I was watching out for mistakes. Sarah Lou fluffed a line to Callum about David 'telling Max 'he's' dead, rather 'you're' dead', but it wasn't important. Callum's attack on her was a bit much for early evening - I expect there will be complaints. I didn't notice any football stadium noises, and Reet did manage an appearance in the show, so it all went quite well. The scenes in the Rovers were also well acted - good comic timing when a drunken Anna dropped Sally and Kevin in it. Will anybody really miss Lloyd and Wartface? The best bit was Roy and Cathy making up. So all in all it worked.

I really enjoyed the episode and was more than pleased to see Callum'dispatched' I actually would rather Roy and Cathy remain friends. I'll miss Lloyd. I loved his scenes with Steve (and Eileen) but not Andrea.

I loved his scenes with Steve (and Eileen) but not Andrea. Yes, Lloyd was good in scenes with Steve and Eileen, but that's all. His love life/family stuff was a disaster, and the character was wasted. Craig Charles is best doing comedy - but this didn't come across so well in Corrie. He hasn't been killed off, he could maybe return one day - after the unpredictable compulsive liar Andrea lets him down again?
