Voting is now open for the NTA 2006!  Corrie has been nominated in several categories, as usual Most Popular Serial Drama against EE, Emmerdale, Home and Away and Hollyoaks. Also been nominated in Best Factual Programme for the Corrie Family Album series. Bradley Walsh, Bill Ward and Simon Gregson are the 3 people put forward for Most Popular Actor. Kate Ford, Sue Cleaver and Jane Danson are up for Best Actress. Finally Nikki Patel who plays Amber is nominated for Best Newcomer. Hmm, predictable nominations for actor and actress again this year, why no Sally Whittaker? Get voting Corrie fans and lets make sure they win this year! I`m disappointed that the girl who plays Sophie Webster (Brooke something?) wasn`t nominated for best young actress. I`m glad Nickki Patel was nominated though and I voted for her. Sexiest male of course is Bradley Walsh. If he doesn`t win then there is no justice. Get ready to storm Granada studios with me Jez if Bradley doesn`t win. Ditto with Sue Cleaver as best actress. Though no doubt Lacey Turner will win sexiest actress from all the kiddies that vote. It`s good though that they put a curb on multiple votes this year though!! ;D |

Brooke Vincent. Yes she is a very good actress
They dont have sexiest actor/actress in these awards, just actor/actress/newcomer/serial drama - those are the categories related to soaps.
However, had there been a sexiest male category my vote would have, of course, gone to Mr Walsh ;D

Is Family Album factual? Hardly. It's not a documentary. They've really dumbed them down. And if that wins it's a fix. I'm not voting. The whole thing is a joke.

with a bit of luck she might win the award this year Patsy.Kate ford can act or how could you belive in how nasty Tracey can be? that does take an actress to do that with a character make them belivable.

Patsy Well I dont think she will win it as Bille Piper from Doctor Who will probabaly get it, or someone from another drama. However she has as much chance as anyone else from the soaps I think. Her acting is a bit hit and miss, some scenes i think she is appalling and other times she is excellent - i really dont know what to do with her! lol |

I must admit, I am glad to see that Neighbours had quite a few catergories to choose from. I think I voted Neighbours as best daytime show. It`s been a while since I was at that site so I can`t remember
