CG, hope you're feeling better too. Stuff political correctness. I think the Geordies would be very upset if they outlawed the term. LOL!

Thanks everyone...you`re a smashing lot aye. I had a chronic kidney infection as well as a sinus infection. I`m full to the gills of water that I`ve had to take with some really strong antibiotics at the doctors yesterday. Probably made worse by the sudden death of my mother in law last week which hit us all quite hard. So all in all it`s been an awful week. The funeral was last Friday. Changing the subject, after almost 17 years living in the US I still have my Welsh accent, although it`s probably not as strong as Jez`s accent. re: the Brummie accent. There are all sorts of different dialects in Birmingham. For instance the accent that Timothy Spall had as Barry in Aufweidersein Pet is a different dialect to the Brummie accent that some had on Tiswas years ago. I foind it all quite facinating. By the way Val, our cat Georgie is so greedy. Whenever he eats we all say he`s "stuffing his kite" a phrase I picked up from being a fan of the Catherine Cookson books lol
