Very sad. Wonder how Bill Roache has taken it - they were quite good friends way back when - and I mean that exactly as written, not trying to imply anything.

Can't say I remember that - she was always trying to get me off with him but at the time I was heavily involved with one of the directors - those were the days........

What does one have to do to prove it?? It's true actually - I worked in a building next to Granada so I knew all of them, coupled with the fact that my best friend at that time was Sandra Gough (Irma Ogden). More non-interesting facts req'd? - let me know - got to go for my eBay fix - back in 10......

Daren't put it on here - might get in trouble and one of JM's very, very, very close friends is in a series on BBC1 - it's currently off air but due it's third outing soon. Can tell you that the director I referred to is called Mike Apted - now very big in the US. He wanted me to go there with him but I was 17 and under my mother's thumb so it didn't happen - we're all entitled to 1 major mistake. His best mate then was Mike Newell - another really nice guy. Look 'em up if you don't recognise the names. Oh and by the way I've just won a camera on eBay - price in the shops about £130 got it for £16 + £8 p&p - how's that?  ?? |

Very Sad news. From the episodes ive seen with her I liked Lucille.
Not many of the shows original cast are still alive now.
