It's like when they go to bed and wake up the next day with a haircut.

Or a new style and it's still the same. They should really cut hair. That would be interesting. Patsy

Yeah they ought to have real beer, but put lemonade in it....shandies would be more authentic. Peter Adamson used to get drunk a lot and according to Bill Podmores book, he used to absolutely reek of alcohol doing his scenes. So much in fact that cast members used to complain about their scenes with Len Fairclough. Didn`t Bruce Jones have trouble with alcohol a while back? Fair play to him, since he had some health scares, there`s never been anything negative said about him. Well apart from his over acting that is ;D

I think it is shandy. Emmerdale is meant to use real beer I think. Johnny Briggs used apple juice for scotch.

Yeah Jez and Pats, and he couldn`t stomach the burnt sugar concoction they made for him in the 70`s. I can`t say I blame him either.

Im sure they do have watered down shandy in the Rovers? They quite clearly have real chips from the chip shop, and real sandwiches from the cafe, Ashley and Fred chopped the meat for real in the butcher's shop - they don't appear to have real fags though, in the Kabin, as the packets are too blurred to read the brands, in case they get accused of advertising fags.

Yes im sure that when they had an interview with someone in the Kabin (not Reet!) in 1999 they said they were empty packets of fags!
