All this talk by Kevin and sally of their 20th wedding anniversary....he seems to have forgotten he had another wife (Alison)and son who both died..you think they would spare a thought for them....r maybe its another case of writers amnesia

LOL! Me too jessi. I was born in 1981 so only started watching in 1986 and didnt really start appeciating the show until the Alan and Reet storyline in 1989 when I was 7/8.
However I did see all the episodes on Granada Plus from 1976-1994.

Maybe they should have gone there where Sally could have had a busman's holiday! Patsy

Yeah it probably was Nick, but you know what the writers are like huh. But being divorced and remarried, they should count their anniversary from their 2nd wedding anyway being as their first marriage was legally disolved. I loved Sallys wedding outfit the first time she married Kevin. As I recall it was a gorgous shade of peach. I had my bridesmaids in peach coloured dresses when I got married ;D

According to the date of the episode on the DVD set it was indeed the 8th October 1986 when they wed.

Who clocked the height of that spiral staircase in their hotel? Phew! Imagine running up and down that all day?
And what parents would let a pair of young idiots like Rosie and Craig go off alone in a foreign city?

And what parents would let a pair of young idiots like Rosie and Craig go off alone in a foreign city? It was always going to end in tears. Wonder if news will come in that Craig has been tragically murdered in a backstreet Berlin rooming house? Had to chuckle at Kevin desperately deciding to bellow "RAWZEH!!!!!!" at the top of his voice from the mezzanine at Gare du Nord.

after watching last nights episode i thought sally looked pregnant?? On the contrary, I thought that she looked in terrific nick in the dresses she was wearing those scenes (in a non-sexist, non-lecherous way, of course).

Yes Sally is a very attractive woman. Yeah Greg Kelly, Martin Platt and Ian Davenport certainly thought so!

Greg Kelly wasnt bad himself. I'll pass on the other two though! Did you not think Ian Davenport had a certain devil-may-care insouciance to him? Nah, you're quite right - he was a slimey lecherer.
