From The ExpressAccording to Roy Hudd, the truth about his suspected heart attack has been greatly exaggerated. The 70 year old collapsed during the filming of Fred Elliot's demise in Corrie. " I just passed out from a stomach infection. I didn't even have any chest pains." said Roy., who was attending the launch of a book written by Bill Pertwee. He added if anything was going to give him a heart attack it was the reaction of John Savident who was playing the deceased Fred Elliott. " The funniest thing was when John jumped out of the coffin, I came to, with John leaning over me. He picked me up, gave me a glass of water. then jumped beck in the coffin " My mind is just trying to imagine John Savident jumping anywhere. I wouldn't have thought he was built for it.
