According to Roy Hudd, the truth about his suspected heart attack has been greatly exaggerated.
The 70 year old collapsed during the filming of Fred Elliot's demise in Corrie.
" I just passed out from a stomach infection. I didn't even have any chest pains." said Roy., who was attending the launch of a book written by Bill Pertwee.
He added if anything was going to give him a heart attack it was the reaction of John Savident who was playing the deceased Fred Elliott.
" The funniest thing was when John jumped out of the coffin, I came to, with John leaning over me. He picked me up, gave me a glass of water. then jumped beck in the coffin "
My mind is just trying to imagine John Savident jumping anywhere. I wouldn't have thought he was built for it.
