It looks like it isnt live this year then if its on a Wednesday as arent the awards always a Tuesday night when live?

I did vote their gameshow marathon as that was good, not because of them but because of the old gameshows!
Not a huge fan of Sue so didnt vote her, however I dont mind her. Billie is also a tactical vote as more people are likely to vote for her, anything but that trollop as you so rightly put it from EE winning!

Soapies is a Saturday and screened on tv on a Wed, NTA is a Tuesday and either live or screened the following day. Looks like it will be the latter this year.

If Lacey Turner wins (again), then maybe Sue Cleaver should take a leaf out of her book and start raising her voice a bit more. Anyone can shout their way through their lines and call it acting. It`s how she won last year.
Or maybe it was because of all the young lads who voted for Lacey who she serviced in hotel corridors

It's amazing reading comments on Ceefax and Teletext, not just from kids, saying such and such is sexy or hot. How I long for the days when talent was more appreciated over looks. Everything's got so shallow now.

Well we can all be like that and fancy so and so in programmes. However when it comes to voting I would never vote someone because I think they are hot (apart from the sexiest male category which itself is a stupid category anyway!)
I agree CorrieGirl, to be perfectly honest I dont think Corrie stand a cat in hell's chance of winning, and I say that not because I dont think Corrie are worthy of winning, quite the opposite infact but because for some reason people tend to vote EE. However I really hope im proved wrong and they do win, id be so happy.

This is what I mean. They're not famous. They're what Andy Warhol called the 15 minutes of fame. Only because of the obsession with celebrity these days, any old talentless street cleaner can get in the papers all the time because they happened to be on a reality TV show.

And magazines such as Heat make a lot of money from all these people. Its ridiculous. Who the hell buys these magazines which have people like Nikki, Pete, Mikey and Grace all over the covers when Big Brother ended over 2 months ago! I had to laugh when I saw the cover of one magazine yesterday (Star I think it was) - it said "Mikey and Grace - we are not faking our relationship" - I thought to myself, who the hell cares!
