Perhaps I'm imagining things, but has Liz MacDonald's (ahem) embonpoint got considerably bigger of late? Or could it just be that she feels obliged as new landlady of the Rovers to wear ever more revealing plunge necklines? As Jim would say if he were out of chokey, "Catch yerself on".  |

I agree with you Black cat id like to see Liz and Vernon go on a long journey,I coulnt believe my eyes when Vernon entered the Rovers,Jack and Annie Walked would turn in their graves.Vernon has a face that only his mother could love.

They`re probably using Jack and Annie Walker as ceiling fans in the Rovers, they`re probably spinning in their graves so much at seeing Vernon sliming his way back into Liz`s life again.
Of all the pot men/bar staff the Rovers have had, Vernon is definately the worst. He makes Fred Gee seem like Richard Gere in comparasion.
What were the scriptwriters thinking bringing vermin...er Vernon back?

...and actually, I think Liz has become such a dreadful old slapper that she, Vernon, and Derek probably deserve each other - I just wish they'd all carry on somewhere out of sight, but especially the sight of small children and defenseless animals.
