This recent Cilla cancer storyline, has me wondering if it would have evoked more sympathy if the character had been more liked. ?
Wendi Peters is playing it well, but I can't help but think I would care more if it wasn't Cilla it affected.
And Les's over the top shouting and thumping stuff hasn't helped.
