Well I wouldn't pay 150,000 pounds..daughter or no daughter...she does nothing to help the situation and is totally selfish
And Ken hasn't lived in that house all his life..he lived at number 3 till he married Valerie in 1962

I loved the way Tracy removed her gum and stuck to the wall above Davids head...........Just before she snogged him. Yuk.

Well I wouldn't pay 150,000 pounds..daughter or no daughter...she does nothing to help the situation and is totally selfish You do have to feel a bit sorry for Ken. It's as if he sort of suspects that Tracy is actually a cold-hearted perpetrator of a pre-meditated murder (and not the desperate abused victim she has set herself up as) who really isn't worth wasting his life savings on because of a whim she has had to change her lawyer - but daren't say so. He's in the impossible position of having to offer unconditional support for Tracy because it's the "done" thing, and because he knows that Dreary would never speak to him again if he doesn't stump up for her beloved daughter. Personally, I think he should put his foot down.

Clearly though, she's even planning to cheat David out of his nooky. You'll get a proper shag after I walk free from court - yeah, RIGHT. Don't fall for it, David.

Where did Deirdre manage to get the money for a pension? If it's a private one it'll be worth all of 75p today.

I agree - Ken is in an awful situation, and I think Deirdre and Blanche have got a flaming cheek making him out to be the 'bad guy' for even considering not putting up the money. They've all been sponging off him for far too long, and taking advantage of him in any way they can, particularly Blanche and Tracy.
That said, he's too soft for his own good, and unfortunately I think it's too late for him to start putting his foot down.

Blanche has always struck me as a 'You've made your bed, so lie in it' type merchant, and I would have thought she'd employ the same philosophy with Tracy who persisted in living with the local bully, despite everyone's warnings, then she wound up 'defending herself' and killing him. If it was anyone else in that position Blanche would say 'tough'. She also has a fascination with Deirdre's prison experience which I find slightly sinister. It doesn't look like Blanche cares much about justice - more about whether Tracy will follow in her mother's footsteps, and or provide entertainment for Blanche and all the other tricoteuses at the Weatherfield Court.
