I can understand him being annoyed when he found out Gail was going to abort him but he should have talked to his mum privately about that. The way he dealt with it was immature and cruel to him mum.

Seriously though the only harm he did when he gave Gail the diary was to himself..she dosen't have to justify herself..and he is now seen to be the wicked,depicable little t**d that he is by everyone...and as for Audrey & Bill...'you reap what you sow'..Audrey should have known he would have to open his mouth after his past with the cards etc....

As I recall Martin didn't talk her out of it - he just bought himself more time by making her promise to think a bit longer, but she still intended to terminate the pregnancy.
Then she had an accident of sorts - fell off a ladder, or something - and suddenly felt protective towards the unborn child. After that she knew she wanted the baby and continued with the pregnancy. God knows how Ivy woulld have known about it, though.

Well from what I remember of the episode he tried to talk her out of it saying he would never leave her etc (a promise he later broke!) but the fact he knew what she was doing made her change her mind. Falling over does sound familiar pearly, but not sure if it was a ladder - was it not in cafe on a wet floor?
No idea how Ivy knew - im sure only Kevin, Sally, Alma and Martin knew. They must have rewritten history.

I dimly recall when Gail and Martin told Ivy about the baby. She didn't approve of Gail going with a toyboy, and was worried that the two of them were considering getting married.
Then she was even more pissed off to discover that Gail was pregnant out of wedlock - so I'm assuming that Gail and Martin had decided by now to be pleased about the baby before telling Mother-in-Law From Hell about it.
Unless I'm getting mixed up with something else - but I think that's what happened.

She really disapproved because it was only about 5 months after Brian died. Then he caught mumps from Nicky and she was forced to look after him. But she saw too how Martin was with Nicky and Sarah Louise and came round in the end.

Audrey shouldn`t have apologised...she should have made sure Gail walloped him and taken his car off him. He don`t deserve anything nice. Now that he`s 16, Gail should make him get a part time job.

I must admit I don`t know any kids Davids age who would act the way he has, so I don`t think think it relects real life.
Its going to be a loooooooong time before Audrey forgives David - if she ever does. And of course Gail will always stick up for him.

I would never have got away with that as his age...then again I have never lived with a serial killer and been nearly drowned in a canal,been threatend by a scottish reflexologist or had my head submerged in a bath by a lip licking mad builder or had my dad run off with a teacher and never get in touch..and then found out my mum planned to abort me
