Michelle/Tina should reconsider going on holidays to sunny climes to top up her tan. She now has a nasty cold. I didn`t like seeing her her breathing all over baby Joseph in yesterdays episode. The poor kid was probably covered in in her cold germs. I laughed again at Steve McDonald making fun of Flash the tortoise. flash ah ah. ;D What`s the betting that Mandy put her pet in another box.

It was done perfectly and sensitively Paul. I especially loved the ending. Good to see Tristan again too...I have really missed him since he left as Adam in Casualty.

Even if they changed the law today - it still won`t help Michael or anyone else in his situation. By the way Pats...thank you for this thread. Where other sites have had posts deleted for mentioning Michael, this thread stays open. Sort of unrelated but in the same vein, I remember a year or so ago there was a story in the papers of some actors who were...shall we say....being rather naughty with women who weren`t their wives. Anyway these actors paid their lawyers lots of lolly to threaten newspapers if they dared print their names on their extra marital affairs. And one actor in particular was like a dog in heat by all accounts. I know who one of them was thanks to someone 'in the know' DMing me on Twitter last year. I`ll just say I can`t watch a certain drama that used to be on Sunday nights without thinking of the randy old goat. I don`t know if you know hugh...er....who I mean ;D

I find it so hypercritical of Granada to send Kevin to jail in a storyline involving child abduction. Yet years ago they decided on a storyline involving Martin Platt and a barely 16 year old girl in a sexual relationship. And when the actor objected - they fired him.

Yes she does Paul doesn`t she. I thought to myself yesterday when I watched ep 2 and 3... Jacqueline looks more beautiful now than she did years ago. She`s like a fine wine. Its a shame time hasn`t been as kind to Mel Smith, but he plays a great character nevertheless. I hope we haven`t seen the last of him.

To protect the Corrie brand, there is no such thing as innocent until proven guilty in their world is there. Even if Michael is proven innocent 100%, and the woman admits she lied, it will hang over Michaels head for the rest of his life. In the Sunday papers friends have said that Michael is feeling suicidal over these allegations.

Even if he`s found not guilty, Kevin could possibly be 'Scott Windsored' out of Corrie. I hope TPTB won`t kill off Kevin in the Rovers fire, and then claim it was their intention all along to write out Kevin.

With Michael being a household name , it`s going to be very difficult to find an impartial jury.

Exactly!!!! Michael is still protesting his innocence. No word from Granada yet, other that he`s been suspended. It doesn`t look good for him either way.

re: Debbie being slapped. I was thinking of that scene from Airplane where a woman is scared of flying and is slapped. Then there`s a queue of people in the aisles waiting to slap her too. ;D

I sent my other DVDs back this morning (Rainshadow - an Australian miniseries), and moved 'Small Island' and 'Birdsong' to the top of my queue. 'Birdsong' was recommended by Netflix after I added 'Small Island' to my queue. Hopefully I`ll get `em Saturday or Tuesday....it`s a holiday Monday - Presidents Day, so no mail.

Well it IS news to be fair, especially after they dropped the charges before. They've changed their minds. Must be something to do with the Jimmy Savile thing. Patsy That was the first thing I thought of too Pats - the aftermath of the JS fallout.

The Sun couldn`t wait to get this news on their front page. A few days ago on the Drudge website I heard about more arrests from the NOTW hacking scandal from a year or so ago. Could this latest arrest be related in any way?

Thanks so much for that Paul. I just added it to my queue in Netflix. And what I love about Netflix is that after I added the movie, they will show other movies I might like similar to it. I found quite a few to add. Have a well deserved *K*
