What does every one think?
I know it is far to early to make a proper jugdement but i like them so far. They seem to fit well as a family.

I was surprised to learn that Jodie Morton is supposed to be Jerry's daughter. She looks far too old - I had her down for late thirties, and was his girlfriend. According to Digital Spy she's 28, and he's 'mid forties', which would have made him very young to have had a child.

So far the dad ( Jerry ) has upset Gail with his loud music. So as far as I'm concerned that is a good start. ;D ;D

Yes, Nick. I suppose you're right - maths was never my strong subject! She still looks a lot older than 28, IMO.

Totally agree PQ - I thought she looked well into her 30s when I first saw her, possibly even 40-ish?

There seemed to be a great deal of heavily laboured scene setting and explanation of who was who and who would be sleeping where - "I bet you're glad you're not stopping with us, Grandad" and such like. I dare say that it's necessary, but it was very stilted.

Im not sure whether I like them or not yet .
I dont like the Grandad much, he seems annoying. Jodie also appeared a bit annoying too. Those 2 have been in a few episodes previously so ive had more of a chance to form an opinion on them.

The jury's still out in our house. I think Jerry will be fine, and I quite like the youngest daughter, but not sure about 'the twins' yet, and thought Grandad was distinctly weird from Day One. Jodie, to me, seems like she would be better suited to running a market stall in Eastenders - can't say why, maybe it's the way she looks and behaves!

What`s the betting by the summer Jodie and Jason will have an affair. Usually on a soap, when 2 characters dislike each other they end up in bed. re: Sinbad. That`s not the Sinbad I remember from the Brookie days. The Sinbad I remember had dark hair and a small beard. I really like Jerry, he seems a great character. Although I reckon he`s more suited to Eileen than Gail. Eileen seems more his type and she could keep Jerrys kids in line better than Gail ever could.

I don't remember him ever having a beard. Maybe he grew it after I stopped watching. He didn't have one when he was with Mandy Jordache either.
