Poor Afia. It's not her fault her dad was a raving, wife-beating nutter. Probably beat her mum too. But what IS her fault is she still defended him. I feel sorry for her more than Benny Elliott. If Zainab and Mas don't hold anything against her, why can't Tambo?

Yes she's off. Wants to spend time with her baby, unlike someone we know who claims she misses her son yet keeps signing new contracts!
Zainab is right. She was the one he did all that to but she doesn't blame Afia at all. I hope he finds out Zainab lied to Yusef about Afia being in the B&B. He wouldn't have been burned otherwise.
And Clyde free! Probably too busy chasing Penelope Pitstop.

A nice ending to Fridays show would`ve been Jay punching out MBK. Jay is more of a Mitchell than MBK ever was. Mondays show will be really interesting.
Pats...I`m wondering if Tamwar already knows about Zainab lying about Afia being in the fire. He`s just too quiet, and that`s what worries me. I`ve always liked Tambo, and to see him so withdrawn concerns me.
Someone else who I`ve always liked is Liam Butcher...he`s an absolute sweetheart, and i`m glad he`s getting more storylines now he`s older.

It's pretty crap at the moment, and I've only dipped in and out for the last couple of weeks.
Pat arranged an extortionate loan from Gangrene, with a properly drawn-up legal contract. There must have been a clause included dealing with the eventuality of Pat dying before the loan was paid off so that either a) Pat would have to have had an insurance policy covering the debt (unlikely she'd be able to get that) or b) that the house would be the security, and now Pat has died Gangrene probably owns the house anyway. What was that rubbish about her buying the house and renting it to Carol and co? Buy it off who? It's been left to all the grandchildren when they come of age - so who owns it in the meantime?
And why don't they all get their OWN place somewhere, and NOT pay rent to Gangrene? Despite Thicky's departure there are still three adults working and earning, and three kids entitled to Child Benefit and Tax Credit, so they can't be all that broke.
Apart from looking like Clyde from the Anthill Mob and occasionally Graham Norton in a certain light, Clyde also bears a striking resemblance to the late Barry Evans. Maybe he's really Roy's secret bastard son, and that's why he hated Pat so much - because she got the Evans lifestyle, and he was dragged up as a Branning! Stranger things have happened in EE!
The dragged up Stella stuff is so dire - they would have busted Baldy with great pleasure at the time if they'd thought him responsible, and Ben's hearsay evidence is worthless, there's no proper proof.
I hope Tambo hasn't become bitter and cynical, which would ruin the character. If he and Afia make it up and move away they stand a chance, but staying with his mother is fatal. She's such a bloody drama queen who gets off on secrets and lies and martyrdom, it drives me nuts!She used to be a brilliant comedy monster when she first arrived, but she's changed too much for the worse recently.
The new Loosey is dire, I wish she'd stayed in Devon or Cornwall or wherever it was. Is there a new Peter on the horizon? If so let's hope he's not a big fat dud like the other recent new heads on the younger characters.

I think it's the fireworks. But why now? Why not New Year's Day? I don't give a toss about all that or Fats & Shitney. He can do better than her. Though surprised, after what she's been through, he called her a sket. That was VERY nasty.
Wouldn't those kids outside R&R have been making nasty comments about Andrew and Hev instead of ahhing?

It really is garbage at the moment. I looked up from my book the other night to see the otherwise sensible Patrick apparently in league with the abominable Clyde. How did that happen? Apart from being respectable he must be nearly 100 years old these days, a bit past it for playing gangsters.
Still can't work out Michael Moon - apart from he is an atrocious character. Does he genuinely care about his muppet brothers or is he still trying to destroy them? Who cares? Not me.
