Which soap won a BAFTA last time? Corrie or EE?

Hopefully with the good storys Corrie have had they will get it next year - the storyline with Claire at the moment is excellent and highlights the condition of postnatal depression

Until it's forgotten when the next 'issue' comes along like all the soaps. This is why it's a mistake to cover issues the way they do these days. They should return to subtle which is more memorable instead of being ordered to by the government to include this, that and the other.

But I think they way they have done this storyline has been very good. Not rushed like Mike's Alzheimers storyline.

She got her figure back remarkably quickly like in soaps though.

I must admit, I lost a lot of weight after my 2nd son was born. In fact a fortnight after I gave birth I bought a pair of size 10 jeans!!!! And they wasn`t elasticated either. I`ve put it all back on theough - and more!! ;D

They do say breast feeding helps reduce the weight faster but Claire hasn't been doing that.

hehe if Claire breastfed Thomas, her boobs would end up concave. She`s not exactly in the Pamella Anderson stakes is she

I just heard that EE won Inside Soap award for Best Soap for the 10th year running. What a joke those awards are. Please! EE best soap for the last 10 years, dont make me laugh! Im glad Corrie didnt win, what an insult it would be for that magazine to give them a Best Soap award.

I was pretty ticked off yesterday when I heard too Jez. But then I thought..."tch the tweenies vote doesn`t really count" Inside Soap is so biased towards Corrie it`s not even funny anymore.

I don't even know who won what except Richard Fleeshman won sexiest male (at that age???) and Kara Toynton (or however it's spelt) for female. Bradley Walsh got actor, Emmerdale got storyline.

I wasnt annoyed, this is one award that EE is welcome too!
Oh Richard always wins sexiest these days probabaly due to his fanbase from that Soapstar Superstar.

It's only a crappy mag anyway just like the TV Quick/TV Choice. Not really important.

Yes the BAFTA's and the NTA are the more important ones

Yep. Even the Soapies aren't because it's just an ego trip for them all.

And in the soapies most are voted for by a panel of judges so there is more bias. Even I thought there was something odd about Kate Ford winning Bitch the 2nd year so won it as she wasnt as bitchy that year!

Doesn't help with the viewer votes when they keep putting the SAME people forward year in, year out.

Well with Kate Ford going at least there will be more variety in the Corrie nominations!

No there won't. Same people get the storylines so the same names will be put forward by the production team.
