We reckon between Kate, Willie and Letitia (if we're being fair, which I doubt the voters will be!)

I think it should be Letitia to go.
I thought she would go last week, but she hung on.
If Willie goes I would not be suprised, it is beyond me how anyone could actually dance to the music that was played for him and his partner.....it was dreadful.

A reasonable result, tho' I agree with you sc - I would have liked to see Letitia go instead.
Am glad that Kate has survived - I thought she'd shown huge improvement (especially considering her problems at the start), and I felt the judges were very unfair to her (Anton was well miffed with them!)

MY expert commentary! Alesha: Didn't have the wow factor like last week, but still very good. Smooth is the word! Gabby: Fun, fun, fun! The back flip was a nice surprise in the middle. Their good result was deserved. Dominic: Much, much better than I expected. I thought with his injury that it wouldn't be good, but it was really good. Polished! Kate: I enjoyed it. Not the best but a step up from last week's fair performance. Going in the right direction. Good this week, maybe very good next week? She's the favourite with the bookies to go though. John: He's likeable. The posture has improved, but he did mess up at times. I wouldn't be surprised if it was between him and Kate. Kenny: I liked it. The end didn't come off properly, but everything else was good. Kelly: The 1940's were alive again! Perfect! Gethin: Definitely looked to be enjoying himself this week. Best male so far tonight. Leticia: Unfortunately missed her last week. I say unfortunate because she was good. She really looked to be enjoying herself. Elegant springs to mind. Penny: Started off with her stealing the limelight with the camera, but soon developed into a fun filled dance. And it was definitely swinging sixties - a nice move on from the 40's!!! Matt: His general dancing didn't really impress me, but the lifts were truly excellent. Stunningly good. The end was puzzling though.

I think you're being overly generous about some of them this week eithne, but maybe I'm more critical than you.
Alesha great, but (as you said) maybe missing just a bit of sparkle, compared to last week.
Gabby excellent, but still a bit concerned by her apparent 'win at all costs attitude'.
Dominic was pretty good, but his appearance doesn't really suit this show - not his fault, but I think it will eventually count against him.
Kate was a huge disappointment for me - I thought she was all over the place, and I really thought/hoped she might surprise us all - she really does deserve to go this time. Have to say tho' that I very much doubt she's getting same amount of training in as the rest of 'em, when you consider she has to be up at sparrow's fart for GMTV.
John was pretty good, I thought, and I missed most of his mistakes. His posture was much better, as you say, but I think his standard is falling behind the others now. He might go.
Missed Kenny, but my wife thought he was pretty poor, though he tried hard. He could also be in the bottom two.
Kelly just fantastic, but why does Brendan insist on sneaking in illegal moves?
Gethin much improved - at least he looked like he was enjoying it this week. I still feel he's holding back, and could be even better..
Letitia much better (so my wife said - I was serving up the dinner at the time!), but has got some serious catching up to do.
Penny (to me) still hasn't found a dance to suit her. Not as bad as the Jive, but still a bit 'gangly' and clumsy - I think she'll do far better in the traditional ballroom dances. Fun, though I never could stand that song, even first time around! ;D
Matt was the real surprise of the show for us this week. We both thought he was great, and the No.1 contender amongst the men.
To go this week? Between Kate, Kenny, Dominic, and possibly John - and don't really mind which it is.

So has Kate recovered from her 'serious' injury?

Seems to have, not that her dancing is that good even uninjured.
I quite like the rest though, although like blackcatz don't much like Gabby's must win attitude. ( Can you imagine what it would be like in her household if she got kicked out and Kenny remained. ) ;D

Well even tho' I wasn't that keen on her (as a competitor) she certainly didn't deserve to go in that manner, or so soon!
What a complete farce!
The voting system just doesn't work on any level. Surely the logical way to do it would be for people to vote for the person they wanted to see leave, which in this instance would have given us totally different results, I'm sure.
They could still have a dance-off, between the two polling the most votes, with the judges having the final say.
I can only assume that one of the reasons for the voting being this way round is that they hope people vote for more than one person, which of course = more phonecalls, which = more money.
The judges were absolutely fuming, as was Gabby's partner James, which I can quite sympathise with. Both Gabby and Penny were probably amongst the top 5 or 6, and certainly not the worst two.

I totally agree. I expected it would be Kate v John in the bottom two, not Gabby v Penny. Everyone was stunned by it I think. Totally wrong! Really annoyed at it as both were so good. But I feel they were seen as "safe", hence they got less votes than everyone else.

This has proved though, that the last thing SCD is is a dance competition.
People are voting for their favourites, or people get the sympathy vote, it seems to happen all the time. The best way to vote is for your least favourite to go as they do in BB ( apart from the final )
I think Gabby did herself no favours by thinking she was better than the rest !!

They always do though which is why voting is daft for everything. In the old days it never used to be like that but the number of people nowadays saying they watch something because they fancy someone is ridiculous.

Kelly: I didn't like the cape, just as Len said. It wasn't good and I didn't like it at all. It was lacking passion, surprisingly as this hasn't been a problem in other weeks.
John: I loved it and think he did very, very well. It was smooth and elegant and relaxed. Posture was greatly improved as well.
Leticia: Similar in many ways to Kelly and Brendan's, but far better I thought. Her confidence is growing and it definitely shows. I hope that this continues.
Gethin: I liked it. It looked well and he is improving. And he definitely loved like he was enjoying it, a problem in previous weeks.
Kenny: I liked the kilt and there was drama as Len said. Overall though I wasn't too sure.
Alisha: One word - Beautiful.
Dominic: I'm not a big fan of him, but he really stepped up it this week. A major, major improvement.
Kate: Definitely her best performance yet.
Matt: Really, really impressive. Had plenty of drama - that's for sure.
Penny: Brilliant. Just behind Alisha's, but still amazing.

So Dominic got the heave-ho then? I'm not overly disappointed by that. What do you all think - Nick, blackcatz, sooty?

Didn't he just! - I was quite surprised - he normally seems such a cheeky, chirpy guy.
I thought he deserved to go anyway - he may have put the work in, but however hard he tries, he's never going to look 'right' as a dancer.
On top of which, John was noticeably better than him anyway (I thought), and Kate had improved so much, I think she genuinely deserved to stay (this time!).
Major improver this week had to be Gethin - I would say he and Matt are running neck-and-neck in the guy's competition.
Women's contest is much tougher to call - I can't see a clear winner yet.

I thought Letitia did very well this week..and you're right there was a vast improvement with Kate..it was right to give her another chance, she has been needing a boost to her confidence and this week she got one..so it may help her improve again
Dominic always looks to me like one of these kids of around 10 or 11 doing ballroom dancing..really over emphasising sticking his chest out etc...(makes me chuckle)

I thought they had all improved.
I had to laugh at Dom, the way he marched about had me in a heap. John was certainly the better dancer, and suprisingly light on his feet. ( and aren't his kids lovely )
I think the men have a more difficult job of it. ( Having to lead )
I don't much like Kelly, but that is personal....nothing to do with her dancing.
I still can't understand how Kenny escaped being in the bottom two ( with Dom ) must be the sparkly kilt that swayed the public vote ;D
Loved Penny, Alisha, Matt, Gethin, and Letitia, and I thought Kate much improved although I still think she is the weakest female.

If Dom Littlewood is only 42 (as he claims) I'll eat my hat...there is no way I am 4 years older than him...he is 50 if he is a day

He's been going to all the newspapers over the weekend, claiming the judges watch the rehearsals and then decide on their scores and their comments - as well as accusing them of other things. Someone's got sour grapes!

I have also read in a few that his treatment of his partner was tantamount to harassment.!

Appalling decisions again by The Great British Public.
No way Matt and Penny should have been the two left in the Dance-Off.
Despite an improvement last week, Kate was really awful again this week, and should definitely have been the one to go, and I reckon Letitia should have been the other one in 'Last Two'.
Trouble with Penny is/was that only certain dances suited her - she was just too tall for the fast Latin dances; whereas she looked supremely elegant in the traditional Ballroom ones, and I suppose that the judges had no choice, as she was the worst of the two (on the night).
Great shame because I don't think we'd seen the best of her yet.
If TPTB want this show to have any sense of credibility in the future, they have got to re-think the voting system. The fact that people can vote for their favourites straight after one show has ended, before they've even seen the following week's rehearsals, let alone final performance, is just crazy!
If this is a dance competition, sort the voting out.
If it's a pure entertainment show, what's the point of having professional judges taking part?
Such a shame, because it makes for cracking television.

I totally agree with you BC.
The only reason Kate remains is because of her GMTV fan base. ( Mind you, she is good for a laugh, as in 'How not to do it' )
I have said all along it's not a proper competition. People vote for their favourite whether they are c*** or not. The judges have the final say, and end up having to choose between two goodish ones.
