Did you see the comments on Teletext having a go at her for still being in it? I can't stand the woman but she may have been using it to help take her mind off things and for all they know her dad could've told her not to leave when he got sicker.

Poor Kelly. He was so young at 57 wasn't he? At least he got to see her do fairly well in the competition, something which will be changed quite a bit now that Kelly's gone. I'm guessing Aleesha will now be the favourite to win, with Matt, Gethin and Leticia all bowing out in reverse order. That's assuming Kenny goes this Saturday.
This also explains why they only had 8 hours to train last week. Maybe she'll be able to come back and do a special performance in the final. Apparently one of the US version contestants got voted off, despite coming on top of the leader's board. The judges, audience and even her fellow contestants were shocked so she was invited back to dance in the final week.

Sincere best wishes to Kelly and her family.
TBH I can't believe all the spite and vitriol she's received from various quarters - particularly on the BBC SCD forum. What has she ever done wrong? Is it just pure jealousy or what? She's a pretty girl with a bubbly personality who has done TV presenting, acting and some lingerie and swimwear modelling - is there something wrong with any of that?

I must admit I was one of the doubting Thomases after her celebrity love island presenting etc.....but now I have seen her on SCD I realize i was wrong to pre judge her and that she seems a genuinley nice girl
so I stand corrected

Maybe it is jealousy, blackcatz. I haven't seen what they've said on the SCD forum. Is it really nasty?

There were a few nasty ones on TV Plus as well.
Poor thing, whatever she does people will have a go at her.
I didn't want her to win, but she was a great dancer, and real competition.
I wonder if they will let her back next year.??

I loved Gethin this week, and he got my vote.
I think the bottom two should be Letitia ( whose dancing I have never much liked ) and old banana hands Kenny.
Gethin, Matt and Alisha should be in the final.

Gethin has definitely stepped up the competition this week and is now in the same league as Matt and Aleesha. He was definitely most improved this week. The other two were equally good as well I thought, though Matt looked very, very worried throughout. He must be putting himself under a lot of pressure.
I thought Leticia was about to collapse at one point, she looked so ill - poor woman.
I agree that Kenny and Leticia should be in the bottom two sooty, but I'm fearful that Kenny get the sympathy vote as the judges were fairly nasty to him last night. And he'll probably get a Scottish vote as well. Please don't let 2 of our top 3 end up in the bottom two.

Totally agree sc - I've never rated Letitia either, and Gethin's salsa was brilliant (shades of Mark Ramprakash).
Matt also good, but I felt Alesha was below par in both her routines - good, but not her usual sparkling excellence.
...and yes - Alesha, Matt and Gethin for the final. I rather hope Letitia goes tonight.

Kenny should go tonight,he has been constantly clumsy and clumpy....Letitia was very good last week..unfortunaltey she has been ill all week and found it difficult to get through her dances ..even having to dash off to be sick...she deserves another week

So, everybody did the right thing and Kenny and Letitia were the bottom two.
I had the horrible notion that the sympathy vote would keep Letitia from the bottom.

I thought all of them were a little below par this week.
Matt made quite obvious mistakes in both his dances, and was defintely suffering from nerves, tho' his good bits were very good and I certainly don't think he deserved the 4 that Craig gave him..
Gethin very good, but not quite the sparkle of last week, and I thought his jive was a bit camp. Scored well in both dances, and definitely deesrves to be there next week.
Letitia OK in the ballroom, but frankly I thought her jive was awful. Judges didn't like it either, but she scored better than Matt, which I thought unfair.
Alesha good in both, but not as stunning as she has been in other weeks (I think she's peaked), tho' as usual the judges were wetting their pants over both her dances.
I think Matt and Letitia will be in the bottom two. Personally I think Matt deserves to stay, for his potential talent, but I suspect Letitia may win through (again).

I don't think my top three ( Matt, Gethin and Alisha ) were as good this week. I really felt for Matt. ( who I didn't think looked really well ) He has been so good. I thought Letitia was quite good, but I want her out, but I have a horrible feeling the 'Kate' factor will see her through.

I want letitia to stay..I think she has,out of the ones left, improved the most
Matt let himself down last night..and if the judges had to vote on those performances Matt would go

Well that was unfair...how can Letitia possibly expect to go through up against Aleesha..??

So Leticia went then, but Aleesha was in the bottom two with her. Big surprise there. I hope its not going to mean she'll go next week.

Matt made a right mess of both of his dances...losing the plot halfway through them both !!
he should have been in the bottom 2

Yes he should, but overall I think he's been a far better dancer than Letitia, and I think he will get better still.
As regards Alesha being in the bottom two - it's obvious the public didn't vote for her because they didn't think she needed the votes (common mistake with this system I feel), and people did vote for Matt (myself included), because we felt that the judges, particularly CRH, had been very unfair with his marks, and also because Matt has far more potential than Letitia (IMO).
The obvious way to sort out the voting system is to get people to vote for the couple they want to go, not the one they want to stay!

Would taht work any better tho Blackcatz??..at the moment people are voting for people they like wether they have danced well or not...if you had the vote the other way round people would vote for someone they didnt like, wether they danced well or not...I don't think there is a perfect solution

Great performances by all three last night - don't think there was a poor one by any of them!
Must be the closest run-up to a final this show has seen, and on last night's efforts, I think any one of them would be a deserving winner.
Great stuff, tho' have to say I am getting p*ssed off with Len and Bruno. Len seems to suffer huge mood swings, and is giving some very dodgy '10s', and Bruno is becoming very irritating, and just seems to follow Len's lead with the scoring. Maybe the Transatlantic stuff is becoming too much for them, and their scoring is being influenced by the probable American 'Everyone is wonderful' version?

I missed most of it last night (I'm busy coming up to Christmas!) but saw the final dances for each of them. All three were excellent, although I would say Matt and Aleesha had the lead ever so slightly over Gethin. I just wasn't as keen on his dance, but he was probably better in the earlier dance. There is barely anything in it, and it could be any of them that goes tonight. And Craig's first ten of the series last night? He's conservative with his scoring anyway! Not his comments though!
