I agree BC this weeks dance off was a travesty
Kate and Kenny should have been long gone by now
mind you we can predict who will be in the final 3
Kelly,Alesha and gethin (I think)

I was out on Saturday night and videoed the X Factor so completely missed SCD (I forgot that the X Factor is repeated on a Sunday afternoon on ITV!)
But I saw some of it on Sunday night and was gasping literally at the bottom two. Its so sad that Penny got the boot as she really didn't deserve it. Likewise for Matt, he should not have been in the bottom two. At least he probably won't be there next week.
Either Kate and John should have went/should go last Saturday or this Saturday. There is a major difference between those and the rest of the competitors, judging by the performances before last Saturday anyway.

Kelly,Alesha and gethin (I think) Interesting predicition Nick. I'd put Matt in as one of the final four for definite, but would agree with your three. The girls are out front to win though. But looking at voting, Matt has Eastenders fans behind him while Gethin has BP vote which could tilt it towards the boys. All this is assuming that Kate's powerful GMTV vote doesn't keep her in until the final stages of the show. Not an entirely improssible prospect is it?

Agreed - between Kelly, Alesha, Matt and Gethin.
...at least that should be the case on talent alone, but as already mentioned, a sizeable spanner could be chucked in the works with The Great Unwashed voting for inappropriate celebs, probably Kate and/or Kenny.
Between the top 4, it's very hard to call - at the moment the boys seem to be improving week by week, whereas the two girls seem to have slowed down their improvement (peaked too early perhaps?)
I still don't have a clear favourite - I actually like all four of them.

Just read that Kate has maybe cracked a rib.
That will keep her in for another week then.!

Kelly: Jive-tastic! I loved it.
Leticia: Her best performance so far I thought. Elegant and classy, with a lovely and smooth ending.
Kenny: They are all so good this week! It looked good and was entertaining, even if the technical side of things were weak. He'll get through though after getting a roasting from the judges. The sympathy vote will work.
Gethin: Camilla was overly dramatic with her moves, but I thought he did extremely well. It looked well, despite her flashiness.
John: Weaker than everyone else, but still a good effort.
Kate: No drama, no excitement. Get rid of her now and make this show about dancing! It was walking, not dancing.
Aleesha: Perfect!
Matt: Good but not great. A slight letdown after Aleesha.

Kelly and Alesha far and away the best two this week, I felt.
Gethin a bit wooden, tho' technically good.
Letitia pretty good this week, but to me she has never looked quite 'right' as a dancer, and I'm afraid I'm not a fan anyway.
Matt not as good as last couple of weeks, but still up there.
John and Kenny both made good attempts, but you can see they'll both be gone soon.
Kate better than last week, but still dead last.
IMO (and if there's any justice), Kate must/should go a.s.a.p, followed by Kenny the following week, then John, then Letitia, leaving the top 4 to fight it out.
Good show tho' - the standard was really excellent overall this week, except for KG of course.

I thought Alesha, Matt, and Kelly were good. As I predicted, Kate got the sympathy vote. I hope to God she doesn't end up the winner.

Justice is right. Kate is gone at last. Now please let John and Kenny follow her out the door! We want a fair competition, with talent winning through.

Finally the Great Unwashed wake up, and the right person is out !
Trouble is Nick that a lot of people like Kenny - he seems a nice guy, and he's funny, so we could see further injustices before the show is over!
(I agree with you tho' - he should be next out)

At last Kate is gone, even though it is a few weeks too late. and at the expense of better dancers.
Kenny should be next, but he has the popularity factor, so he will probably remain.
If there is any justice Alisha and Kelly will be the final two. (Although I like Matt and Gethin.)
I think John is clumsy looking and even though Leticia has come on in leaps and bounds, she still hasn't the grace of Alisha and Kelly.

I agree completely that John is clumsy looking, its just his size. He's both very tall and large. It will be difficult for him and Kenny to go though, as they are both likeable - same with Kate as she had the "everywoman" factor. They've got the "everyman" factor. I hope they don't stay at the expense of someone better though - that's happened enough this series already.

Gethin, Matt, Alesha - all really good. Matt was far better than Alesha though, he should have got 39 I felt. She was just ever so slightly weaker I thought. Gethin looked good though and has definitely improved - but I think Leticia could be now just as good as him. She's really caught up on my Top 4 in the last few weeks and her Viennese was so good tonight.
Kelly, Kenny and John were all disappointing I thought. Kelly was really weak and deserved her weak position. As for Kenny his dance was far too lift heavy ("Look at me. I might not be a great dancer but I can do a lift, and another, and another...") , while John just can't compete with the good ones. If anyone else apart from Kenny and John goes tomorrow night it'll be a travesty as Jez or Nick would say!!!

Alesha and Matt far and away the best this week, tho' I agree that Alesha wasn't as 'special' as Matt - her improvement over the weeks hasn't been as dramatic as his I feel.
Gethin seems to perform the technical side of things beautifully, but I agree with the judges that something is missing on the emotional front - he and his partner don't seem as close as some of the others, and I think it may be his fault - he just seems too reserved with her (jealous partner or afraid of upsetting his BP fanbase perhaps?).
Letitia has improved most, without doubt, but I still don't think she looks 'right', and my beloved agreed with Craig that her footwork wasn't perfect.
Kenny and John were ... Kenny and John. Big effort again from both of them (particularly Kenny this week), but one of them will/should be going home.
Biggest disappointment by far this week was Kelly - it was blatantly obvious they hadn't put the hours in, and as a result their performance was sloppy and lack-lustre. A real shame, beacuse I think she's got the genuine talent to challenge Alesha and Matt for a three-way final. Just hope she doesn't end up in the bottom two this week!

It seems there is now a definite division line between these dancers.
There is Alesha, Matt, Gethin, and ( I have no doubt she will be in this catagory next week ) Kelly.
And the bottom ones, Letitia, John, and Kenny.
I am finding it difficult to pick my favourite from the this weeks top three.
Does anyone watch the programme on BBC2 each weeknight at 6.30. ? You can really see who puts the work in on that.

The right result last night, and I think maybe the shock of being in the bottom two may have been good for Kelly and Brendan - maybe they will now up their game - IMO they're still potential winners.

Definite winners if the newspapers keep putting in pics of Kelly wearing next to nothing.

I'm hoping Aleesha win's - she's so nice and natural and she treats the judges with respect no matter what they say. And of course - she dances beautifully. She's had a horrible couple of years so this may be helping her to put herself together.
[glow=red,2,300]Is it just me or does anyone else think Kelly looks like Edwina Currie?[/glow]

It's tough isn't as there are 4 potential winners there - Matt, Gethin, Aleesha and Kelly (though the latter didn't show it last week!). Then there's Leticia, who I think has even surprised herself with her new found confidence. She isn't as graceful or as talented as the others, but to me she's still endearing and likeable. I'd put her in a medium category, as opposed to a lower one.
Then there's Kenny and John... thankfully the latter went last week but I'm very fearful that the former won't go this week - at the expense of someone who doesn't deserve to go.
Cheetah: I can kind of see the resembalance, but its not exactly a striking one.

I see Kelly Brook's now pulled out. From BBC Online:
Last Updated: Friday, 30 November 2007, 15:30 GMT Brook quits Strictly Come Dancing Actress and model Kelly Brook has pulled out of BBC One show Strictly Come Dancing following the death of her father on Monday.
The 28-year-old had vowed to continue rehearsals for Saturday's live show in his memory, but found it "too difficult", said a BBC spokeswoman.
Brook's father, Kenneth, 57, died following a long battle with cancer.
"Kelly has been a fantastic part of the programme and will be sorely missed by everyone on the show," she added.
Two dances
The spokeswoman said that the programme's participants "would also like to express their deepest sympathy to Kelly and her family at this difficult time".
Brook and professional dance partner Brendan Cole had been among the favourites to win the series.
"Kelly would like to wish the remaining contestants the best of luck and thank everyone for their support," said her spokesman in a statement.
The former Big Breakfast presenter is engaged to Titanic actor Billy Zane.
In last week's show Brook and Cole's performance was criticised by the judges, who said they had not performed to their usual high standard.
Cole reacted angrily to the judges comments, claiming he and Brook only had eight hours to rehearse the routines.
The couple ended up in the bottom two after the viewers' vote - but they were saved from being ejected after judges chose former England footballer John Barnes to leave instead.
Saturday's show is the first time the remaining couples will perform two dances.
Singer Alesha Dixon, actress Letitia Dean, former rugby star Kenny Logan, Blue Peter host Gethin Jones and EastEnders actor Matt D'Angelo are still in the competition.
The grand final of the show, which takes place on 22 December, will now contain two couples instead of the traditional three.
