I enjoyed the dancing from all three of them and I think it will be a close call between them.
I suppose for consistancy all the way through the competition, it should be Alisha, but the other two are good.
I suppose we will have to wait for the good old publics mood when they dial. ;D

Yes, he did, and in a way I'm disappointed. After the fantastic show on Saturday, I think I would actually have liked to have seen the two boys in the final.
Yes, Alesha was fantastic from Day One, but she had had dance training, and IMO one of the wonderful things about this show is watching how some of the competitors improve out of sight (chrysalis/butterfly scenario?), and to my mind Alesha never did (maybe she was just too good from the start?).
Anyway, as I said in a previous post, they were all so good on Saturday, I didn't really mind who got through to the final.
My only observation for any future series is that they do something about the scoring system, and revert to two shows on Saturday. I thought I wouldn't mind the extra show on Sunday, but it all seems very phony now, and there's far too much time wasting.

I was sorry to see Gethin go, but I suppose on the night Matt was the better of the two.
It will be interestint to see next week if they can hold it together over five dances, I wonder if it will come down to who has the biggest fan base.

Poor Gethin...I think Matt should have gone last week myself
yes it would be better to have the 2 shows on the same night..and there is so much padding on the results show..how many times did Bruce say "We'll be finding out which 2 couples will go through to the final shortly...but first...."

That's more than they have ever had before. Its usually three each in the final, although I suppose with there being only 2 people this year its different. Still, the quality could be well down if thats the case.

Yes, I suppose it was the right result in the end, but I agree that the whole thing dragged on. Altho' I love the concept, I was actually rather bored by the final! Just too much of a good thing, methinks.
I also think that next time round, I will give the week-night shows a miss (much as I like Claudia as a presenter). The show's OK at the start of the contest when there are stll plenty of contestants, but over the last few weeks, we just seem to get the same old thing with the same people.
And weren't the Spice Girls really rather cr@p = they shouldn't have let Posh open her mouth!

I must say The Spice Girls went up in my estimation...I thought they sounded quite good...or was it just me..??
I suppose though if Kelly hadn't dropped out, there would have been three couples in the final,so they have to fill the time in with something.
We never watched 'It takes two' we just stuck with the main shows..otherwise it takes over your life ;D

I am glad Alesha won, but I thought Matt was excellent too. Such a shame that Kelly wasn't up there with them.
I thought it was a lovely evenings viewing. Too much time is taken up with 'padding' though.
The reason I prefer this to X-Factor is that there isn't big money involved.......no £1.000.000 record deal, just a glass trophy.
Enjoyed the 'Spices' I thought they looked very glamorous.

Have been watching, but only the Saturday show - have given up on the Sunday show and It Takes Two, as they're both so full of padding. Anyhoo, I'm supporting Cherie Lunghi, firstly beacuse she's closest to my age group, secondly beacuse I was very impressed with her first dance, and thirdly, I've been a fan for years and she's gorgeous! Of the others (so far) I rate Rachel Stevens, Austin Healey, and the bloke from Holby. BTW, when I saw Rachel and Cherie side by side in one of the training sessions, I was amazed by their similarities - they could have been mother and daughter - very spooky!

There are some strong contenders again this year. I think Austin will definitely be in the final, not sure who else will be yet though. My favourite at the moment is John, he is so enjoying himself. I'm not keen on Lisa though, and hope that Jessie Wallace gets kicked out this week, she is so cumbersome.

The judges were a bit cruel ( even though it was true )
Still, their comments will get her the sympathy vote and keep her in.

Good show again - Cherie fabulous, Rachel ditto, Christine not far behind. Thought the men's group dance was fun, and best of all, the right person was voted off!!!

I had a horrible feeling the sympathy vote would keep her in. Thank goodness it didn't. Only Don left of the EE mob....and he was good last time he danced. I notice one of the papers referred to Austin and Tom as the smugs. ;D It will be interesting next week when they are all up against each other.

I've only seen two of the shows so far this year, but Cherie Lunghi looks great so far. I was glad that Jelly Wallace (as Brucie called her) got voted off as she just wasn't up to the standard. And the new haircut just didn't suit either.

I thought everyone was just a little bit 'below par' tonight.
Even though most performances were competent, no one couple really shone for me. I was out of the room when Lisa and Brendan danced, and my wife (who is an ex-dancer) said they were very good this week (still don't like Lisa tho').
For me, it's pretty clear that Austin Healey and Tom Chambers are the only two men in the race, while Rachel, Cherie, Christine and Lisa are the frontrunners in the girls' category, with Rachel and Cherie both just in front (at the moment).

Some good performances tonight, but for me the whole show was spoilt by Len being in one of his stroppy moods.
Just what is his problem?
Every so often he gets overly argumentative and even downright rude. I'm sure it's all the to-ing and fro-ing across the Atlantic that is tiring him out.
That said, I'm still rooting for Cherie, who once again put on a stunning performance, despite minor cock-up at the start. I think she and James have an excellent relationship. They seem more 'grown-up' than some of the others, and have genuine respect for each other.

what happened to Hayley Holt (the NZ All Blacks Captains girlfriend) ? Is she eliminated? Who was she with? was she any good? She is quite good over on our ones called "Dancing with the Stars"
