I agree Pats. And by some spoilers I think that Glynis is in it for the long haul - possibly to take over the Vic now that Peggy is leaving. Maybe Jill didn`t want to commit full time to EastEnders. The similarities between Glynis and Ronnie is quite remarkable. EastEnders is very good in casting characters who have similar looks..... Bradley/Max, Liam/Ricky, Tiffany/Bianca.

Corrie used to be but they lost their way, going for pretty boys and girls.

Can't wait to see the back of her - she never fitted in, and hopefully it'll mean the last we see of her obnoxious offspring, too.

They made a big deal of a disabled character but he's hardly done anything and is more annoying than Manda.

Daft. She'll be a one hit wonder, at best. She should have chatted to Sid Owen about his 'music career.' Also Nick Berry, Martine McCutcheon and Anita Dobson - didn't exactly set the music world alight any of them

Grrr.... Shane Richie to return to EastEnders as Alfie Moon Exclusive By Lara Gould 7/02/2010 Shane Richie is to make a sensational return to EastEnders as loveable rogue Alfie Moon. Richie, 45, who left the soap in 2005, will be back later this year. A spokeswoman for EastEnders said the star would be back on screen by the autumn. Richie added: "I'm looking forward to finding out what Alfie has been up to and what the future has in store for him." Shane became an instant hit when he joined BBC1's flagship soap in 2002. He went on to become half of one of soap's top double-acts with screen wife Kat Moon (actress Jessie Wallace). It has not been decided if Wallace, who left the show at the same time, will also be returning. Dad-of-four Richie, who is married to second wife Christie Goddard, has struggled to find work since leaving Albert Square. Last year he was cast as Arthur Daley in Five's heavilyhyped remake of the 80s comedy-drama Minder. But despite heavy promotion the show was canned after one series due to its having lost a million viewers. www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/02/07/alfie-s-back-on-square-115875-22024288/

I can happily say I only saw the odd ep with him while he was still in it. But Shane Richie isn't anywhere near as annoying as Bobby bloody Davro!

And as for Slat - I suppose it would make sense for them to return together, as she is at least related to Charlie and Mo. So anyway - which Mitchell sister is he going to shag first?

The thing is....once Jessie Wallace gets money in her pocket, she goes out partying and causing trouble. She`s already been suspended over slapping one of the cast (I think it was Hannah Waterman IIRC). Jessie was in the newspapers a lot with her not so private life when she was in EE the last time. I hope for her sake shes calmed down now.

I haven't but then it could be a surprise.
I think she has calmed down. Out on her ear if she hasn't.
