Thanks Pats/jez for pinning it. I`m glad Kelsey is leaving. I hated her ever since she was a witch to Mac. I think Mac can do much better than a selfish cow like her.
My fave characters in no particular order are...... Mac, Adam, Jess, Charlie Tess, Dixie, Jeff, Noel, Ruth and Alice I neither like nor dislike Jordan or Tony (Is it Tony who is ditching Alice because of gang threats?

Is Maggie coming back? Would love to see her again. Was such a stupid way she was written out.

I also will be glad to see the back of Kelsey, I have never liked this character, and in real life I would hate to be nursed by her.
I am also fed up with this Fairmead estate and all it's low life characters.
Over on Holby, I think Linden is totally out or order trying to move in on Faye, he started it all in the first place forcing Joseph to come clean and I don't think Joseph did the deed with Jac either ( he was far too drunk ) I also don't like the Tom character.

According to Holbytv spoilers: Jordan is shattered to discover that his symptoms are caused by a large brain tumour...I hope it's operable.

Cheetah was right!! In a strange sort of way I`m glad it was a tumour rather than another neurological disease like Parkinsons. Hopefully now Nick can have an operation that is successful and he can still stay in the show.

Yes I also gathered it was a brain tumour, and I reckon it is rather far advanced given the symptoms etc.
I love Nick Jordan/Michael French, he is great and my favourite., and I hope he stays in the show.

Oh, im sure he told Alex (Adam's brother) that it was something else and Alex said he shouldnt be seeing patients given his condition.

According to one tv mag, his condition is terminal. The cancerous tumour is unoperable because of it's position.

This is correct which , although Michael is playing the role brilliantly and spot on, is sad

According to Holbytv, rumour has it that Peter Wingfield is due to make a brief return to Holby City to reprise his role as Dan Clifford. He will be seen in a 'sensational' storyline to be shown in the Spring.
Also, Holby City actor Jalaal Hartley will be making his final appearance in the medical drama this month. Jalaal, who plays rebellious medical student Tom O'Dowd, first appeared in October 2008, before having a regular stint in the New Year. ( This is a character I will be glad to see the back of. )

I had always hoped that Nick Jordan would be around for a few years yet Although I daren`t get too attached to Adam Truman or as sure as eggs are eggs he`ll leave. And he`s so gorgeous and a nice bloke with it. Do I detect a slight Australian accent? Is the actor who plays him Australian in real life? Some nice scenes between Jay and Ruth....I rather enjoyed their scenes and they looked good as a couple if only Ruth would unbend a bit. A great episode, sadly no Mac though as he`s my very fave character on there, and has been since the day he joined. I hope that`s not the kiss of death for his character.

Have just found this Wendy.
Born in Kent, he emigrated with his family to Australia at age fifteen and studied drama at Melbourne University, remaining in Australia for a further ten years before returning to England.
So you are right about Aussie connections, I will make a point of listening to him more closely. ;D

From DS
BBC medical dramas Casualty and Holby City are to air a trio of crossover episodes in the New Year, Digital Spy can exclusively reveal.
Lead Casualty writer Mark Catley will pen two episodes of the series, sandwiching a single instalment of its sister show for a storyline which sees a regular Casualty character being rushed for treatment on the wards of Holby City.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Casualty's series producer Oliver Kent said: "It's a very exciting one. I can't say too much at the moment, except to say that one of our most important characters will find themselves being treated in Holby City and another of our regulars will go along with them.
"The plan is that in the Casualty episode, which will transmit in February, the leading character concerned will be injured and their life will be saved by another leading regular. That injured regular will need to have their injuries treated in Holby City."
He continued: "Mark Catley, who's Casualty's lead writer will write the Holby City episode, too. We'll then pick up in the next episode of Casualty what happens in the aftermath."
The current crossover plans will be the fifth time the sibling shows have overlapped. The first, titled 'Love Nor Money' aired on September 16, 2003, before the second Casualty@Holby City Christmas special was televised in December 2004. Another double bill - 'Test Your Mental' and 'A Great Leap of Faith' - aired in October 2005, while the two-part crossover 'Deny Thy Father' broadcast at Christmas in the same year.
Kent added: "It's fantastic to be able to do the crossovers, but the difficulty is purely logistics. We film in Bristol and they film in Elstree. The will is certainly there!"
Don't they film Casualty in Wales now ?

Not sure Sooty - I think its still in Bristol but there was talk of it moving to Cardiff?
I like it when they do crossover eps as it makes it seem more real that both shows are set in the same hospital - even tho they are filmed miles apart.

I heard they were moving the filming to Cardiff too Jez - but I haven`t heard anything since. Perhaps it was too expensive to move there.

Yes its still moving, though i have been told if you wish to write to the stars your best bet is to write to their agents, basically so they will DEFINATELY reach them!
