Barb popped up in the EE post-live ep special on BBC Three! She and some other cast wished them a happy birthday while some started humming the EE theme. More collagen I see. Looked younger than Sue Nicholls!

I think its also her hair style and thinner face - it reminds me a bit how she looked during late 1988 when she did those scenes begging Alan not to leave.

I still think she looks pretty damn good - certainly a lot better than many others who have had (ahem) 'enhancement'!
...and the new hairstyle (wig or real? -discuss) knocks years off her.

I agree BK - i honestly this she looks like she did around 1988/89 but that could be the wig as well!
The storyline with Reet and Lewis is ok but its obvious Audrey is going to find out!

Yeah but to go from tramline face one day to zilch the next (as she did when she first had it done because Cilla's exit was the last with her natural look) is stupid. Also what is stupid is not one character commented.

Im so excited that Barbara is giving an interview, the first proper one since 1999 (not counting the Soap Awards after show back in 2004). Typical that im out next Friday so im going to have to record it! Wonder what he is going to ask her?

Hmm well she's definitely hiding something with those baggy clothes. If the weight loss were natural she wouldn't be hiding it. She also didn't have the spark she used to. But great he mentioned the petition, even though "over 20,000 have signed it" was talking out of his Birkenhead arse. 2113 it stood last night (2181 now). And it's NOT coming out for Xmas. Mercury went back on their word about releasing it when there were 2000 sigs. Probably won't come out, as we thought, until she's dead.

It was a good interview. But it was a bit annoying that they made it sound she she had been there since 1964 when in reality it was two episodes (I think) and then nothing until 1972.

I was confused about this Ken Dodd thing since then POG went on about her first scene with Ken Barlow! So was she working with KD in 1972 and HE'S responsible for her getting the job? Or was it the 60s? She claimed she doesn't give interviews because she's private yet we know she keeps changing her stories.

It was good to see Barbara being interviewed....and it made a change for Paul to actually talk about his guest and not revert everything back to him as he usually does (this is the first time I have seen pauls evening show)
