Well I suppose it makes look a bit more realistic but not needed really.

I don't think its necessary to see corpses.......seeing Audrey looking down would have been quite sufficient Pssst - he wasn't really a corpse, you know - he was just acting.

I also would not like to have to act out lying in a coffin, now I will probably sound superstitious but that seems too much like tempting fate.

I fell about laughing when Audrey touched Fred's hand and remarked how cold he was. That's because he's dead.!! BTW did Audrey do Fred's last make-up and head shave? That was her little side-line for a while.

LOL Pearly
I agree mrs D..it is like tempting fate..look at poor Bryan Mosley...not long after being dead in the chair as Alf he died in real life.
my one superstition is ..and it sounds daft.. I won't say something like.....
.....'If its the last thing i do' or 'If it kills me' as in..I'll get this flat clean if it kills me' or 'I'll get to the top of this hill if its the last thing i do'...funny coz I'm not superstitious about anything else

My friend in Yorkshire isn't much of a Corrie watcher these days but did see Fred's death. She said she had to laugh when Audrey heard the little crash because Fred wasn't the type to create a little crash.
