I`m very sad about this. The only way to split up a great partnership of Roy and Hayley is to kill off Hayley. Seems like Stuart Blackburn is chomping at the bit to get Roy and Mary together.

So just like prawn, Simon is another actor who plays himself. I can`t say I`m surprised.

I loved Darts too...I bought a few of their albums. I hooted with laughter when Den Heggarty fell off the stage on TOTP. I can`t wait til the TOTP 1979 version comes out. What a veritable goldmine of cutting edge talent...Dexys Midnight Runners, Gary Newman/Tubeway Army, Police, Ian Dury and the Blockheads etc etc etc

I thought TOTP 1978 was better than than the 1977 one. Maybe because I wasn`t into punk. I did like Jam, the Buzzcocks, and the Stranglers though. I never did like the Sex Pistols. I was a huge fan of Squeeze. One of the 1st CD`s I ever bought was Squeeze '45 and under'

Strangely enough Paul, I`ve seen an ep of 'The Paradise' - and liked it very much. I haven`t got around to watching the rest of it yet.I did watch 'Mr Selfridge' tonight and I really loved it. The 2 shows are similar in its content, but out of the two shows - 'Mr Selfridge has a more flamboyant style to it. 'The Paradise' what I saw it was a bit difficult to follow at first. I think that`s why I never got around to watching the rest of it. I think you`ll be pleasantly surprised by 'Mr Selfridge' - I know I was.

I hope to watch this show tonight. Apparently this show was due to air in November, but it clashed with 'The Paradise' on BBC1, so ITV decided to postpone it til January.

Two great shows that I watched well into the wee hours. It didn`t have the WOW factor of 'The Rock`n`Roll Years', but it was still an enjoyable walk down memory lane. Did anyone else watch it? If so, is there a new year every week?

I don`t like Priya either heart. I hated that she split up Alicia and David. Even though Alicia loved David more than he loved her, I thought they made a great family unit with Jacob.

Whenever Fiz has the loved up look on her face, it always looks like she needs a good dose of Ex-Lax.

I`m looking forward to the Anthony Hopkins versionso I`ll give this one a go til then. Although when I saw it listed I thought it was a Catherine Cookson drama - until I saw the date...and then who starred in it. ;D

I hope #3 is Ali...as a character she is completely pointless. And as for that voice....she makes my ears bleed, and puts my teeth on edge.

I didn`t know Dan Stevens was leaving - so it really was a shock when his character died.

An excellent line last night by the always brilliant Lady Violet when Rose`s Mother scolded her for wearing a dress that made her look like a slut. The Dowager Countess said "Heavens, that`s not a word you often hear among the heather" How I chortled. ;D

Wow what a shocking end.......I really didn`t expect that at all. I hope the rotters at the Sun and Daily Mail won`t spoil it by putting the death in the headline like they did when Lady Sybil died. The Americans, Canadians and Australians were furious about that, and I don`t blame them one little bit. Paul, that`s excellent news about another season. Thank you so much for that. It could have finished for good last night and I would have been satisfied.

I got some rather nice white chocolate Kit Kats to munch on tonight while watching Downtown Abbey. I read the other day that this episode could be the last apart from the prequel that Julian is in the process of writing.

Wow what a tough scene to watch at the end. Emmerdale have always been brilliant in emotional scenes with music. I felt quite sorry for Alex I must admit.
