Michelle can't throw Steve out of his own pub, how daft. It's not her pub, she has no rights.
Poor Tyrone and Molly, I hope they work something out.
Dev was almost bearable in his scenes on the golf course, and with Prem and Vermin. Usually he overacts and sounds stupid, but tonight he was much better.

I have never, since he first appeared liked Vernon.
But lately, he has been very funny. I hate to say it, but I think I am going to miss him.

I actually found Dev and Vernon together quite funny!! I thought Carla and Steve's scene when she was in the car was good as well, it was funny when she said something about a million guys in Manchester and he said, well only half a million, and she said "Greater Manchester then!!" For some reason I just found that really funny! xxxxxxxx

I find it hilarious that Snarla was mad at Steve for doing the same thing that she did with Liam. And Liam was married - Becky or Steve were not. Hypocritical cow. The way Miss Hell has been with her constant bitching and complaining, it makes me wonder if she drove her Saint Dean to crash the car when he died. Nag nag flaming nag. If I was Steve I`d fire her, and throw her and Ryan out of the Rovers.

And what has happened to Alex that Michelle made such a fuss about seeing and upset and alienated Ryan to get to know ..and then has never mentioned him since they got back from Ireland

Does Carla know that Steve slept with Becky tho? She is just mad about the way he has treated Michelle.
Yes poor Dean having to put up with Michelle going on all the time!
What has happened to Ryan too? He hasnt been seen for ages and was mentioned this week as being away somewhere but thats the first we'd heard of it!

What has happened to Ryan too? He hasnt been seen for ages and was mentioned this week as being away somewhere but thats the first we'd heard of it! School breaks up next week so Weatherfield will be awash with kids, not just Alex and Ryan, Sophie, Amber, the younger Mortons and Chesney will probably be around, too.

Are Sophie and Amber friends? If not, I think they should be even if Amber is a year or so older than Sophie. They`d make a terrific team wouldn`t they. And there hasn`t been any female best friends since Sarah and Candice. As for the other kids...I don`t care for them at all. Chesney has lost his cuteness long ago. If we don`t see Alex or Ryan I can only hope that they`re at acting school somewhere learning the basics that they don`t seem to have grasped yet. now where is my saucer of milk? ;D

Stape is such an ahole - Fiz, don't be fooled! She looks very nice with her hair up, btw. I'd forgotten about that dozy Julie.
David and crew are so dumb - no point trying to deceive Gail, they should have just said straight away 'So sorry, we had the cliched teenage party when you were away, there was a bit of damage, which is now made good. Sorry again.' Otherwise she was bound to smell bs. They got found out - should have told her straight away. Now Ted looks bad.
Steve/Miss Hell blah blah - it's his pub, if they split up SHE AND RYAN have to move out, probably in with Liam (proper family) She is employed by Liz to run Steve's pub, and if the relationship is over - then tough, she'll have to find somewhere else.

It's very rare that I find Corrie so bad that I don't watch, but have to say that I didn't record it while I was away, and I only bothered to watch one episode last night. I like Steve, Lloyd, and Michelle (most of the time) as characters, but am rapidly losing any interest in them due to this appalling storyline we're going through at the moment. ...and there doesn't seem to be much else of importance going on to make up for it. Should quantify the above by saying that I used to like Michelle, but for God's sake give the girl something to smile about for a change, and preferably a new wardrobe which involves colour! This is not knocking Kym Ryder BTW - I still think she's doing a good job - unfortunately, she's not writing the scripts.

I expect there's a lot of people like you, blackcatz. They really have forgotten how to write and have been concentrating on one or two storylines at the expense of everything else far too long. Did you miss it?

It's a sign! LOL!
I decided last night I'm going to record over mine. I've been taping since 1989 so it's habit really but aren't watching and I'll watch possibly a fraction of the Reet stuff over the past 6 years. No point having it at all.

I must admit that watching Corrie has become somewhat of a chore recently, less of a pleasure and more of a bad habit. I always watch- hoping to be pleasantly entertained, but it gets more and more disappointing. The quality has deteriorated, the characters are either wishy washy or OTT, rarely are they well rounded.
A combination of things (much discussed by many forum members) is making it less enjoyable. I can't put my finger on one thing - but the show just ain't working for me.

I felt that way three years ago. I'll have a look at Kenneth Cope's scenes when they're aired but apart from that and still doing the wordies (when I can be bothered catching up) nothing is interesting me enough to even look at the rest. The beginning of the end for me was Mike's Alzheimer's being for ratings and inaccurate and bringing Ray back just to kill him off to excuse them changing Tracy's character by completely rewriting history. By then the majority of characters were boring, even the ones still around from my childhood. I stopped caring what happened to them and am still hoping for a major catastrophe. Patsy

The major catastrophe already happened when ITV got Miss Hell and Prawn new contracts!

LOL CG!
There's also no surprises any more. Everything is known in great detail and that's EastEnders' fault from the 80s. Now it's worse. The scripts are too predictable. When it says in the papers, such as Sooty posted Reet to sell up, you know damn well it will never happen any more than they get decent storylines. Then there's the recycling because they've run out of ideas which is getting worse. Ken's latest has been done by Norris. Substitute Reet and Emily for Blanche and Deirdre. Look at how many good characters they've axed because they've 'run their course' but give many others drivel just to justify their contracts.
Emmerdale had it right under Steve Frost - excellent writing, characters, storylines once he'd cleared up Kieran's mess. Then Kath Beedles took over, undid all his work and left it in the mire. He could have turned Corrie around if he hadn't had Mr Sensationalism breathing down his neck. It's a shame.
