Hooray...ta Jez ;D It was brilliant to see Bill featured in more scenes. Throwaway lines they may have been but that`s what Corrie does best in my opinion. Becky was brilliant last night. The look she gave Norris was frightening. I wonder if she will slap Claire once she finds out who dobbed Ches in to Social Serveces....and I`m sure will find out out. Becky is on a one woman crusade now. *sigh* that flaming dinner plate ring of Michelles really does my head in. I took a screen shot of it but I can`t upload it my my photo site as it`s playing silly bugegrs today

Is it something for hypnotising the viewers into enjoying this storyline?

lol Pats - you could be right there. I do love that top though....the pattern would make a beautiful baby blanket, and I love the colour too. Wouldn`t make it just yet though - I already have 6 knitting projects on the go already - including 2 baby blankets that I`ve just started for our two nieces. One in pink and one in white.

Does she use that hand to fiddle with her hair?
Not a bad top, no. I prefer a v-neck. Agree about the colour. I had a black and grey phase about 20 years ago. LOL! Still like grey now though prefer black. Goes with everything. ;D

Just caught the 4 episodes of Corrie we missed when wew were away
Would a male social worker come to a house on his own and take Chesney away like that?..I know nothing about social work, but it seems very unlikely in this day and age
And what was all that nonsense with Dan Dan the bookie man and Paul..ordering everyone out of the bookies and making him strip!!!..what a load of cobblers
Jonathan Harvey is at it again....
Corrie Friday..
Amber-Whats the uniform like? Leanne-Hot pants and a boob tube Amber-Well you have to make some sacrifices
Victoria Wood-as seen on TV.1985
First episode second series scene-Italian restaurant
Julie-No..I've given up sex..I'm going to become a nun..I join a convent in Smethwick on friday Victoria-Whats the habit like? Julie-Hot pants Victoria-Isn't that a bit out dated? Julie-Well you have to make some sacrifices
The man is a THIEF

What a cheek to rip off that joke from Victoria Wood - shameless. CG - treat yourself, you know you want one! www.blackhart.co.uk/poisonring.html Or Becky could use one in Roys to slip a few drops into peoples' dinners. (BTW is it people's dinners or peoples' dinners? I don't want to misuse an apostrophe - life's too short!) Weatherfield Social Services certainly are fast and efficient - removing a child because he's living in a dirty house? In other parts of the country children suffering real abuse and hardship are left festering because the authorities are inadequate/can't cope/overworked etc. I hope Chesney returns to the Street soon. Although he's legally considered a minor he's not a little kid - a 13 year old should be capable of doing a bit of ironing and preparing easy meals, he's not a baby. Creepy Ton eye gets more sinister - he and Carla are like two daylight vampires, and if he moves into he new flats he'll be there all the time Gail is being a right cow - steering Tina towards the termination. She's already lost one unborn grandchild when Nick forced Leanne to abort, Sarah and Todd's boy died and Bethany is in Milan. Now she wants to get rid of another one. Jason's constant pining for Sarah is getting on my nerves. Why write her out if they weren't going to forget her? Unless Jason's going too, does anyone know if he's leaving?

I thought it was peoples dinners why would there be an apostrophe after the second e...
I thought you only put an apostrophe in when the apostrophe was replacing letters EG: 'Don't know' for 'do not know'

Well it shows how desperate Corre writers are becoming. Wonder if Victoria Wood knows? Maybe she's flattered they've pinched her. Maybe it would be better if she just wrote it.

I`m sure Victoria Wood would be very flattered as she mentioned Corrie quite a lot in her sketches. Love the black and white sketch she did of Ena, Martha and Minnie in`t snug ;D Maybe Jonathan asked her permission...it is a blatant rip off innit. Ok Pats, I`ve sussed it. That black ring of Michelles is filled with paint. That`s the reason she`s always running her fingers through her hair and why her hair is always so glossy ;D

I thought it was peoples dinners why would there be an apostrophe after the second e... I thought you only put an apostrophe in when the apostrophe was replacing letters EG: 'Don't know' for 'do not know' Yes, but the apostrophe's other job is to denote the possessive form. If a plural noun, which usually ends with an "s", takes the possessive form (example: "the boys' trousers were soaking wet"), then the apostrophe goes after the letter "s". If a plural noun taking the possessive form does not end in the letter "s", however, such as "people" or "children", the possessive apostrophe reverts to going in front of the "s", as it does for the singular possessive form (example: "Maisie's sandals"). Examples of a non-"S" ending plural noun taking the possessive form are "The people's dinners" or "the children's books".
