Two very good episodes tonight, I enjoyed both equally. Although I would have been happy not seeing Miss Hell and her constant going around in circles storyline. Good make up artists in tonight show too. Maria looked positivly blooming...she really did look pregnant - she had that special glow and that 'baby bump' looked very realistic. LOL at Blanche with her one liners. ;D

You mean the one on the right hand side Nick? I took the liberty of taking a screen shot because I know what you mean about his face looking familiar. Was he on Clocking Off as one of the workers in the factory?

An observation about Nick's signature: Blanche referring to Liz 'She looks like a prostitute.....well you were all thinking it'. I don't think she looks like a prostitute these days - but her current look of dark eyes and heavy bleached fringe gives her the look of Myra Hindley. Scary.

And here is a picture of Doris Speed at the demolition of the old Corrie set in 1982..When you go Jez look out for the modern buildings in the background..the warehouse/'brewery' that is behind the posh side of the street is behind the digger on the right (the viaduct will be behind the cameraman) we must have seen it just before they pulled it down..the gate we looked through would have been in front of the red brick building at the back (I don't remember those being there)

Right. I think I know where we are now! Those pics are from the Life and Times of the Rovers Return arent they Nick? I have that book somewhere! So it looks like the old set was the other side of the warehouse building that is now the main building of the science museum then? There are some cobbles around there IIRC so maybe thats where it was?
Thanks for sending the map to me Nick, that was very helpful!

I don't see why GAIL has to leave her home - David is the guilty one, HE should be booted out, the little psycho.
So there's more Alex on the horizon, oh joy. I'm sick and tired of moody, stroppy teenagers running rings round their parents. Lauren too - she's making a right mug of Eileen and Sean, she needs the smirk wiping off her face.
Surely Bill and Jason could knock up a crappy shed in the Rovers back yard in a few hours? Why worry about the other two clowns going off on a cruise?

*ears prick up* Cruise? Okay where from this time? Outer Mongolia? How long? This is where I'd say as if! LOL!

I agree Gail shouldnt have to leave her home but I guess she would feel safer at Audrey's as even if David was kicked out of Gail's he could still come back.

Did anyone notice that 'Lloyd' called 'Steve' Simon when they were having a discussion in the Rovers ??

I'm taking issue with the moron who wrote the script for Monday's second ep. Reet said, "We're not used to such disruption on this street" like it had never happened before. 1989 anyone? Patsy

Did anyone notice that 'Lloyd' called 'Steve' Simon when they were having a discussion in the Rovers ?? I looked out for that especially while finding Reet's bits and you were right. He said, "Simon, let me get me head round this." Well spotted, Sooty! ;D Patsy

When I watched it last night I thought to myself "did Lloyd call him Si instead of Steve"? and rewound that bit and sure enough it was as plain as day. And rewinding it and playing it again made it stick out a mile lol. Awww diddums at David...boo fu**ing hoo. Did anyone feel sorry for him? I sure didn`t. Audrey should have called the cops ehrself and bought Bill with her to confront the cowardly swine. I much prefer the 'over protective Daddy Dev' rather than the 'shag-anyone-with-a-pulse Dev' ;D

...talking of Dev - is it just me, or has he become very, very weird?
Probably brought to light by all the references to him in HH's TV Burp, but have been watching him closely, and he's definitely getting most odd - speech peculiarities, facial tics, hand movements - the lot.
Is he trying to make up for the lack of major storylines coming his way, d'you think?
Just making sure we're all aware he's still in the show?

Oh yes, blackcatz - I've noticed it too: He wildly overacts, really milks his pathetic two or three lines a week for all they're worth.

Dev's weirdness has been noticed in our house too BC.
It's embarrassing to watch him. He reminds me somewhat of Emmerdales Marlon ( Only worse. )
