Well at the end of the final show on Friday he said "last in the current series" - confident of a series 2 perhaps?

I seriously doubt if there`ll be a series 2. If there is, then it will probably be pulled halfway through.

Well if there is you can guarantee it will be when PoG is NOT on so perhaps at the end of his next Channel 4 contract. Patsy

I see Paul had a swipe at Anthony Cotton today...he said i am just checking the set as 'similar things appear to be popping up on other programmes..he won't mention names but you'll soon cotton on'

There was a letter in one of the tv mags saying he should stick to playing Sean in Corrie, but I think he is actually better at presenting and hopeless at Sean in Corrie.

Talking of tv mags I got a shock when I saw the cover of Whats on TV and it said Bet was back! Thankfully she isnt really. Be interesting to see what Goodyear has to say for herself in that interview next week though.

Thought you'd like this from today's Sunday People TV review page:
25 November 2007 ANTONY Cotton may be ITV'S golden boy the wise man of tv Jon Wise
Antony Cotton may be ITV'S golden boy for now - although why is another matter - but he wants to be careful.
Talking on The Grimshaw Family Album about little Holly, the baby Eileen nearly kept for her own, being forgotten about so quickly,
Antony quipped:
"Holly who? Well, that's showbiz."
Sorry. Antony who? Well that's showbiz.

The second part of that statement just goes to prove that we're not the only people who dislike AC, and think him a talentless, self-satisfied prat!

This Jon Wise has always hated him but thankfully not for the same reasons as his predecessor Garry Bushell. Jon can see AC for what we all can which is, as blackcatz says, he's a talentless, self-satisfied prat!

That`s the 2 key words there..... for now. And he won`t reign much longer as ITV are bound to have their eye on someone else. I read over at DS that Daniel Radcliffe wouldn`t mind a cameo in Corrie. After seeing how good he was on 'My Son Jack', he would be great on Corrie - even for just one episode

I think TV execs have a habit of finding someone reasonably popular and never letting them off the screen.
A few good examples are: Carol Vorderman, Mylene Klass, and a bit back Gloria Hunniford and Anneka Rice.

And look how people are sick of Vorderman and Klass. I don't think TV execs understand about overexposure.
