Tracy made sure Amy was distracted with some toys then made some phonecall,s after she got off the phone she rubbed her hands in glee , "we,re going to have some fun soon Amy"she said. Violet came home from work and couldn,t belive her eyes what was that van sitting outside her house, vermin control what vermin she hadn,t got mice or anything, they must have made a mistake,it took sometime to perswede the person he must have got the wrong address but he fineally drove away and that was just the start of Violets troubles that day as all day she kept getting pizza deliverys she never ordered , the first time it happened she thougt it was Steve who had ordered it for them , although he paid for the order and they had enjoyed the Pizza Margarita he denied all knowledge of it. then came the biggest and most beutifull bouquet of flowers she,d ever seen but Steve had said it hadn,t came from him, she wondered if Sean had sent it to her to say sorry. just as they were getting ready to go out for the evening a knock came to the door and it was the r.s.p.c.a and the man said they,ed had a anonamous phonecall from someone that said they were worried about a dog who was getting treated cruelly by its owner could they see it please, Violet and Steve were certain he had the wrong address as she had no pets it must have been the Battersbys that person had meant. after that Violet didn,t feel like going out and suggested a drink at the rovers Steve was relived , she still got changed into a knockout sexy dress as she loved to dress up for him , as they walked into the rovers Vernon and Jason went goggle eyed and almost drooled at the sight of her , much to Liz and Sarah,s disgust.

Liz and Sarah loved their men dearly but did they have to leer and practicly drool everytime Violet came in the door, Liz was used to Vernon ogleing and leering at every woman but she did draw the line when it came to leering at Steves girlfriend even if she did dress like a tart,she was a lovely girl and Liz liked her she hoped things would work out for her and Steve as he deserved to be happy after all that had happend to him in the past. "Vernon a word follow me" she hissed Vernon followed Liz into the private back room of the rovers and Liz carefully shut the door then let rip at him, afterwards he sheepishly went back into the bar and went about his duty,s. Sarah was in no mood to talk it out quietly with Jason "Jason put your eyes back into they,re sockets you,ve seen your ex-girlfriend before" she sniped "oh by the way darling here,s your pint " she picked it up from the counter and made sure she tipped it all over him then flounced out of the rovers. "Vernon get a mop" Eileen said trying and failing not to giggle at her sons stunned face, "Jase go home and change you,ll catch your death of cold but beer does make a good shampoo for your hair" said Eileen , "shut up mum it,s not funny,huh!" came Jasons reply before he walked out to do just that. as she watched the florist leave another floral tribute on Violets doorstep Tracy had a broad grin on her face stage one of her plan was working brillently, she peeped in to Amys room and smiled as she saw her asleep, then Tracy walked through the kitchen and outside into the backyard, "Claire,Claire" she called "oh god! what does she want? be carefull Claire"said Ashley Claire walked outside to talk to Tracy over the fence Ashley could see through the window Claire was nodding and Tracy gave a wide smile he feared the worst. after Tracy went back inside she gave a short laugh just how gullible was claire it was good of her to babysit amy tommorow but she wasn,t going as she had told her to see her soliciter, no Tracy was going to put phase two of her plan into action and she couldn,t wait as she was looking forward to it. looking out of the window Tracy saw Steve and Violet comeing home and nearly falling over the large bouquet of flowers and this time there was a small typed card on them, takeing them indoors Violet lifted the card out and Steve was alarmed to see as she read the card she had lost all the color in her face she did look pale and ill,she fell to the floor in a faint.

Steve had gradually brought her out of her faint and was sitting cradleing Violet hugging her close to him and dropping little tender kisse,s in her hair, he,d love to know what was on that card she had screwed up so tightly in her right hand that had upset her so much ,if she wouldnt tell him what was on it he,d find it no matter where she hid it to find out. once Violet had recovered enough to get up off the floor on the excuse of putting the kettle on she shakely went into the kitchen with the flowers and silently went outside and opened the bin then unceremonisly dumped them in along with the potato peelings etc ,shredded the card into itsy bitsy pieces and scattered them in along with the blooms. how could anyone know her guilty secret? and who sent the flowers? and would they resort to blackmail. Violet knew it wasn,t Sean who,d done that as he did,nt know it, David well he was a sneaky little so and so but she,d kept that from him so he wouldn,t know , would he? the only person besides Jason who knew was Charlie, Jason she knew wouldn,t have done that to her, and Charlie she thought he,d took it to the grave with him along with his knickname he used for her. the card had jolted her memory as now she remembered it was the aniversary of what had happened all those years ago today the card had read "Memories remain" and who ever sent it used Charlies knickname for her of "Mousey"as she was a quiet girl in those day,s.

next day bright and early Tracy took Amy next door and went in a cab to Manchester but unknown to her she was being followed by someone. she was putting phase two of her plan into action but she had to do some shopping to prepare for it, and someone was takeing note of where Tracy went and what she bought. Steve went into work but couldn,t settle as he was worried about Violet, "Steve whats up man your like a cat on a hot tin roof" said Eileen Steve told her about what happened last night when they found the flowers after they had been to the rovers, "poor lass ow is she this morning? " said Eileen she was fond of Violet and couldn,t understand why she and Jason had broken up she didn,t like Sarah much but didn,t say so to Jason though she was gratefull to Sarah for getting Jason to face up to his responsibiltys in the shape of adorable Holly she loved being a grandma . Steve had crept out and left Violet sleeping so said she was alright, but at that moment Violet was far from alright she was being ill, and only once before had she been this ill in the morning yet for the moment didn,t want to get her hopes up,so blamed a Bacon Sandwhich she had just eaten maybe the bacon was slightly off and she had food posioning.

those eyes watched Tracy,s every move without her knowing even when she picked up Amy from Claires after she had been home first and hid her shopping in the cupboard under the stairs. the person was hideing well into the shadows of the street even so Blanche who was looking out of the window and giveing a running commentry to Ken and Diedrie of what was going on outside had seen something but never mentioned seeing him there as she thought her eye,s were playing tricks on her maybe it was her age was she seeing ghosts it couldn,t be him could it ? no she,d have to make an oppointment at the optician,s next time it happened and get her eye,s tested. instead she said " look she said there,s Steve and Violet they,re going out again they must be a couple now as they,ve both came out of Violets place, she does look pale thats with all that gallivanting out, it were never like that in my day" " never like that in your day , are you sure about that Mother"? asked Diedrie trying not to smile, she peeped out of the window its lovely they were together as they did make a lovely couple , Ken was sitting in his favorite comfy chair reading the times paper keeping quiet as he was worried about Tracy he,d seen her watching them a few times now and she had a horrible look on her face as well as that manic grin he was hopeing she wouldn,t do anything stupid for Amy,s sake.

Violet was lucky she had only just closed the door when Steve had gone to work and had to run to be ill again in the bathroom, if it was food poisoning it seemed to be lasting a long time she thought. she saw Sean through the window on his way to work and didn,t know wether to knock on the window to see if he would stop and then they could make it up as she did miss his friendship, maybe if she went in the rovers at lunchtime she could buy him a drink so they then could chat,she was going in anyway to have lunch with Steve. Jason went by wheeling Hollys pram with a scowl on his face and Eileen beside him ,Violet gave a giggle she couldn,t help it as it did look so funny he looked like a naughty boy being made to do something he didn,t like and she knew he loved Holly really. she felt awfull again and wanted to go back to bed but she had to go to work so reluctently she opened the door and was just about to walk out onto the street when she had that horrible sickly feeling and had to run as fast as she could back into the bathroom ,Violet decided to ring her boss and then go to bed after all. Tracy went into Ken and Diedries with Amy "Hiya mum Gran and Ken," she said "bet she wants us to babysit"grumbled Blanche none to quietly to her daughter "where is she gallevanting off to now"? she muttered to Ken who was sitting and eating his breakfast doing the times crossword he looked at Tracy who smiled at him sweetly ,instantly Ken felt scared and thought she,s planning something but what?. "mum could you "she began "the answer is No to whatever your going to say "said Diedrie "Ken is takeing us out for the day aren,t you love?" a bit startled Ken said "yes your mother Blanche and I are going out for the day we thought we,d go and see a castle or something and have a meal out " Blanche almost clapped her hands at this and said "oh good I,ll just go and get ready" Tracy couldn,t belive her ears but about turned after Amy had kissed her grandma and greatgrandma and Ken as she did love them, Tracy walked along the cobble street with Amy to the rover,s opening the door she saw Betty,s motherly face "hello lovey" she said" "is Liz about Betty ?" said Tracy without even saying hello, on hearing Tracys voice Liz walked out from the private part of the rovers and into the bar "Grandma Liz " Amy cried running for a hug, "what do you want Tracy what do I owe this pleasure"? said Liz with a steely look in her eyes while hugging Amy .

"do I have to have a reason to visit you Liz ? I thought we were friends" said Tracy with the steely look still in her eyes Liz replied "the emphasis is on were friends Tracy , now what do you want and if its more money forget it Steve and I aren,t made of the stuff". "I was just wondering "began Tracy here it comes thought Liz "if you could look after Amy for me tommorow ? I was going somewhere today but I,ve put that off until tommorow if you wouldnt mind," " me ?mind no I,d love too " said Liz cuddleing Amy closer and smileing, tonight she and Vernon could be makeing plans to go out with Amy for the day tommorow to visit fun places like a zoo or a funfair as the rover,s was in safe hand,s with Michelle and Betty to run it she knew that. as Tracy went out with Amy quite happy , Steve came in to the rovers "hello love "he said to Amy "what are you doing here"? "visting her grandma Steve no harm in that replyed Tracy with a grin that unnerved him.

Steve had seen Tracy grin like that in the past when they were together and it useally meant trouble for someone, if it wasn,t for Amy he,d have nothing to do with her as she was pure evil. next day Tracy took Amy to the rovers and Liz immediately picked her up for a long cuddle, "Liz I,m not sure what time I,ll be back would it be ok if Amy stopped the night with you?" Tracy said Liz was overjoyed as getting her granddaughter to herself for overnight stays didn,t happen often, but she put on a face Tracy could not read and replied "yes I suppose so" Tracy didn,t see Liz,s eyes twinkleing but Amy did and she hugged her grandma tighter and giggled in her ear. "Bye Amy be a good girl for your grandma" Tracy said and with that never waiting to hear her childs reply she walked out of the rover,s and down the street to Devs shop where she bought a bunch of Lillys and one single red rose, Dev didn,t question her choice of flowers as he never thought too. Tracy walked down the street and laid the lillys on Violets doorstep but took the red rose to Charlies grave where she laid it on the grave and said "its a pity you took that headache and died Charlie, your going to miss out on the fun" and walked away, Emily Bishop who had been tending her husband Ernest,s grave had been standing almost behind Tracy and thought that was such an odd thing to say to Charlie though she Emily did often talk to her husband mostly about Norris who was so irratateing at times and it was the first time since Charlie,s funeral that she had seen Tracy visit his grave.

Tracy walked slowly home watched by someone but she didn,t know it, once home she went into the cupboard under the stairs and got out two can,s of spraypaint , she giggled these will stand out and look so pretty, she put them into a seperate carrier bag. she would do that job tonight. next she phoned David,s mobile "hi, could you do something for me?" she said "what do you mean whats in it for you?, what do you want? wh-a-a-t no-way, ok ok yes, but I want the job doing in four hours time though, will tell you what and where ok , payment will be later and David keep your mouth closed or else!" as she put the phone down ,she thought he,s getting worse! but she had no choice. Tracy got out the things David was going to be useing out of the cupboard then sat and wrote a very short note of instructions for him to follow and he,d better to the letter she thought.

David knocked on Tracys door when she let him in he marched strieght through and into the her kitchen after helping himself to a coke and a very thick kind of a Ham sandwich "thats better" he said after takeing a bite and swallowing "I were starveing", he put them down on the table and read the note, his eyes gleamed just as Tracy thought they might , "yes I can do that thats easy, but payment is gonna be upfront", "not likely "Tracy replied "after the job is done then yes and you might even get a bonus too if you do it well"she smiled sweetly at him all the time thinking you horrible evil little toad if I didn,t need you to help me do this I,d have nothing to do with you, you wart. David looked at Tracy smileing and like many before him was fooled by her smile, "ok " he grunted "what time do you want me to do this ? and will anyone be there?" Tracy looked at the clock and calculated in her mind three more hours then the coast would be clear she hoped. "in about four hours time David and no no-one will be around ok". "good enough, "he said and went back to eating and drinking then checked inside the bag and smirked.

Tracy looked at the clock then had a check look out of the window,"ok David it,s time on with the show"she grinned, David picked up the bag and stuffed the note inside his jacket pocket and as he strolled out the door leaned over to Tracy and kissed her full on the lips, she waited until he was walking down the darkened street then wiped her mouth with her hand yuk what she had to do to get revenge on Steve Mcdonald and that Violet it had better be worth it she thought. when Tracy couldn,t see David anymore she went back into her house and got the two spray can,s of paint and another bag (the content,s she hadn,t paid for no-one would )she gave a giggle and waited until Steve and Violet went out for the night. she made sure no-one was around , the went in to action, first she sprayed in large letter,s in neon pink "scrubber"over Violets wall,s of the house, then sprayed over the door in floresent blue more graffiti . and as a finishing touch she opened Violets Letterbox opened the bag and slid the contents through it closeing the letterbox with a clatter. she walked back to her house smirking , she thought it looks good I should have been an artist it looks great. David several times thought someone was following him but everytime he turned around he saw no-one, just being daft he told himself there,s no-one around,he got to his destination EasyCabs office, and after checking it was empty he set to work.
it was as he came out he felt a hand go on his shoulder ,he was now feeling scared but when he turned around he felt more so he was terrified.

"Hello longtime no see,your still up to no good I see, grow up or I might give you another bath boy" growled a voice David knew and now he was almost passing out in fright, "Ch-ch-ch- arlie" he stammered "but how? you can,t be , your dead aren,t you?". throaty laughter filled the quiet night air "do I feel dead to you little boy? if I am I,ve come back for vengence Beware!" Charlies handsome face was creased into laughter when he saw David turn chalkwhite and pass out on the spot, Charlie wrapped a hankie around his hand and picked David,s jacket pocket for his mobile them wrapping the hankie around it dialled the police and reported easycab,s office as being broken into. phone call over he just as carefully slipped the phone back into David,s pocket and dragged his limp body into Steve,s office after veiwing Davids handiwork in there what a mess, he thought paint splashed about too and sniff was that petrol he could smell? the little sod, wonder what Steve or Lloyd has done to deserve that, well he could stay in there and admire his handiwork Charlie swiftly locked David in there knowing when the police arrived with either Steve or Lloyd David would have some explaining to do and if he said he,d seen him Charlie who would belive him as he was dead and buried wasn,t he . now he,d better stroll and see what his ever unloveing partner had been upto as Amy wasn,t there he,d seen Tracy take her into the rover,s earlier and she hadn,t returned to pick her up again, and no-one knew like him just what that mad cow was capable of, though he had to silently giggle where he,d hidden in the bushs in the cemetry at her loveing display at his grave earlier, what an actress she was.
