Violet called Sean to come over to her flat when she saw him walking home to Eileens after work at the factory, she made him a mug of coffee and they both got cosy on the sofa "well he anxiously said "did you tell him or not"? Violet smiled "yes ,yes I told him Sean" "how did he take it Vi, he,s not gonna walk out on you now is he"? he asked, Violets grin got broader "no Sean he isn,t going to walk out on me he was happy to hear he,s going to be a dad" she said "is Steve going to marry you then? "Sean asked , now Violets face grew serious "I don,t know the answer to that one Sean as he hasn,t asked me yet" she quietly said "but we are going to tell Liz tonight that she,s going to be a grandma maybe he,ll ask me after that", Sean gave her a hug "I hope so Vi I,ll keep my fingers crossed for you "he said .

that night in the rovers Steve and Violet asked if they could go into the private room at the back with Liz , once everyone had sat down Steve broke the news that he and Violet were going to have a baby , Liz did a wild whoop of joy and her face beamed. "thats cracking news our Steve", she said "what s happening with Amy though"?. Steve and Violet smiled wider and Steve said I got news from the court today, she,s ours as soon as school is over a Social worker will bring her over to Violets today, we are going to be a family mam". Violet felt like she couldn,t be happier then Steve got down on one knee and held a tiny red box out and asked her to be his wife. Liz said with a giggle"for gods sake say yes or he won,t ask again lass". Violet smiled blinked back happy tears and agreed to marry him. Liz went to the door and yelled "Vernon bring a couple of bottle,s of the proper champange now, we are celebrateing in here!" Vernon shuffled off to the celler to get the champange while Betty and Michelle and he wondered what they were celebrateing. Sean already sort of knew and was happy for Violet,yet kept his word and did,nt say anything to anyone not even Eileen. he quietly raised his pint and said quietly "good for you Vi , I hope you and Steve is going to be happy together and your baby will be healthy" then brushed a quick happy tear away. Violet protested she couldn,t drink when she was pregnant as Vernon poured the drink bubbleing into glass flutes, and was laughed down by Liz and Steve one drink won,t hurt you they told her, Vernon shared the glass,es out and Liz proposed a toast to the newly engaged couple, and ordered Vernon who had taken a crafty drink out of Liz,s glass to get a round in for everyone in the bar,and make a toast for the happy couple. Tracy was in her cell after her court apperance and was sobbing in deep deep dispair ,she knew she was going down but not for this long, and she hadn,t expected David to change his story the little toad she thought just wait until she was out again! Tracy also hadn,t expected Charlie to be there either it came as a shock to her more so when he had smirked when the judge not only sent her down for what hse had done in revenge on Steve and Violet but had added Charlies murder to it too, yet there he was st anding in court twice as nasty as he,d ever been.she was going to be an old lady when she got out almost her mums age she thought but to give Steve full custordy of Amy, why had Charlie insisited on that he knew she was a good mum and why had Deirdre and Ken and Blanche not been there why had they turned their back on her when she needed them the most.Tracy vowed to get her own back on all of them one day. the end or is it?  |

last chapter ok. it was a beutifull sunny morning on the day of Violets Wedding to Steve and to Blanches surprise and shock she saw the bride to be comeing out of her flat and getting into the wedding car wearing a white frothy type of dress ,"oh my, Deirdre , Ken look at this "she said "Violet looks lovely but shes wearing white with that bump of hers", both Ken and Deirdre looked out just in time to see little Amy comeing out of Violets flat to join her in the car wearing her light blue bridesmaids dress. all three of the Barlows got a lump in their throat at the sight of Amy with forget me not type flowers in her hair and in the blue dress "aww Ken isn,t she lovely give me my camera quick" said Dierdre Ken gave her her camera , she quickly took two photos, one of Amy standing by the car with her white and peach carnation flowerball dangleing from her wrist, and one as she sat beside Violet so proud to be her bridesmaid. as the car pulled up to weatherfield church Violet and Amy got out and as they stood at the top of the aisle Sean came to Violet and said "both of you look gorgous,I,m so proud I hope I won,t cry, link my arm then if I,m going to give you away Vi", Violet was a little sad that none of her family had turned up despite Steve and her inviteing them but was determined not to show it, it was their loss she gave a tiny smile to Amy then another to Sean linked her arm through his and said "come on then we,ve a wedding to go too", as the wedding march began to play she and Sean started to walk slowly down the aisle Violet thought she felt a twinge of pain but put it down to nerves with Amy following them they made all the weatherfield residents heads turn, they did look good.with his best man Andy Steve was at the alter and turned as they drew nearer and on his face was a proud beaming smile though he was a bit worried Violet was turning slightly pale at that point,
all through the cermony Violet was haveing a dull aching pain but was determind not to let anyone down, Sean and Steve and Liz were watching her worridly, as they left for Bettys present of a wedding breakfast at the rovers in the wedding car both Steve and she waved to the crowd , Liz was holding Amys hand as Vernon was going to drive them back to the rovers. "Steve" Violet groaned "can you tell the driver to make a quick detour please to the hospital I,m not sure but I think we are about to have an unexpected guest", with a very worried look in his blue eyes Steve opened the glass panel and spoke to the driver "quick mate as fast as you can ,put your foot down pal and I,ll tip you heavily get us to weatherfield general ! " the driver went past the rovers to the amazed crowd, speeding like lightning towards the hospital . everyone went in to the rovers and Liz gave them a drink on the house and said "what ever is up our Steve will tell us so lets not worry ok". Sean and Liz shared a look that said they thought they knew what was going on. just then the phone went and Liz answered "Hello , The Rovers Return how may I ? Steve ! No , when ,"and as she put down the phone she said in a proud and happy voice ok belt up our Andy and Vernon, Michelle Betty go and get the proper champagne and charge up everyones glass give Amy a tiny bit along with some lemonade and we,ll drink a toast to the Happy Couple and Amys Brothers,"James Alan " and Sean Darren" they both arrived safely 20 mins ago in weatherfield general , everyone I,m a grandma again " as the people cheered Sean felt proud Violet had named one of her boys after him but fainted.
