I,ll have a go Alyson (my middle name  lol) Violet was shakeing in her flat she could not get over loseing her baby the news had came as a complete surprise to her at first that she was expecting it. but she looked over the street each morning to see new heartbreak, Jason wheeling Hollys pram and looking so happy with Sarah , why she sobbed to Sean when he came around to see her had that to happen to her ? she was looking forward to being a mum too. later that sleepless night a plan came into Violets mind she would get pregnant again but would not tell the dad the question was who would she pick to be her babys dad? not Jason he was far too immature for her, David was out of the question far to young, Sean would be ideal but he wasn,t interested in her that way, Violet puzzled it over in her mind all night until early next morning she woke from a doze with a smile on her face of course why hadn,t she thought of him before ? once she got a few drinks down him the rest would be easy and he was a dad already in Coronation Street so he,d pay her to keep quiet about it and she would use that money to make sure her baby would be brought up right. when she told Sean later of her plan and swore him to secrecy he was horriefied "Violet no you can,t! its not like you , don,t do it don,t risk your life again to have a baby" he said but Violet was determined and next night in the rovers she put her plan into action , he was in her sights and never suspected a thing when he woke up in her bed the next morning with a smug smile on his face as she brought Steve a hot mug of coffee in bed. |

after he dressed he said "see you later babe" and gave Violet a kiss at the door a few pairs of eyes were watching him as he walked down the street to Easycabs , Violet smiled a little smile to herself and closed the door , Sean was in utter disbelief at what he had just witnessed as he was comeing out of Eileens door on his way to work had Violet gone crazy? this just wasn,t like her to do anything like this mad plan of hers. Norris had also seen the kiss at the door as he had been collecting the papers from the doorstep of the Kabin to sort out for the paperboys rounds, "never expected her to see that but it,s not the first time young people of today no morals" he tutted and muttered all the way back into the Kabin and he was on his own in the shop until Rita decided to make an appearence. Tracy had also seen Steve kiss Violet and she wasn,t happy about it yet there was nothing she could do or was there? she started to think. in his break from work at the factory Sean had gone to Violets in the hope of talking her out of her mad plan and the hope she might listen to him her best friend he knocked and knocked on her door but she didn,t answer was she out or was she avoiding him Sean wondered.

Thank you Alyson its the first time I,ve ever tried to write something like this and I,m pleased you like it . next part  Sean went back to work but was worried all day and no amount of teaseing from the girls at the factory could lift his mood,and much to LLoyd and Eileens annoyence as Steve wouldn,t tell them why but he kept a very smug smile on his face all day he even went out of the office whistleing once. Violet had been out shopping at Devs then got chatting to David when Sean had been knocking at the door so she hadn,t known she,d had a visitor until she called in to the Kabin to pay for her papers and Norris had let her know there had been a man knocking on her door earlier (Violets mind raced ,blimey Steve was a bit keen wasn,t he? this was going to be easier than she thought ) she gave a little coy smile and walked home to have a bath and then she would get dressed in her knockout clothes for a drink in the Rovers she knew Steve wouldn,t stand a chance tonight again. Tracy called in the taxi,s office with Amy and asked Steve to look after Amy tonight for her and got the shock of her life when he refused her as he had plans for tonight , as Tracy walked out of the office with her daughter her face looked like thunder , what was going on between him and that mousey quiet Violet he,d never refused to look after Amy before? so she Tracy could have a night out. |

Violet strolled into the rovers and Steves eyes nearly popped out of his head , so did a few other men as her dress clung to her and emphasised all her good points,"Sean was scandelised she was dressed that way. Liz could I have a spritser and get Steve a pint " she purred ,Liz went to pour the drink,s and saw Vernon haveing a good leer at Violet she wasn,t going to have that it was time he did some work. "it look,s like the bitter has finished Vernon tap a another barrel please and while your in the celler we could do with some mixers we,re running short love" as Vernon went to say something he saw that dangerous look in Liz,s eyes now wasn,t a time to argue he went quickly to do his work. the factory girls were gobsmacked was that really quiet Violet? , Steve breathed in her heavy perfume what say we finish our drink,s the go clubbing babe " he said she smiled ,yes she had him hooked good and proper "why not its a great idea" she said. Sean went to speak with her and she knew it would be rude not to so she listened to what he had to say in a low voice to her "you look like a cheap tart " he said "Violet this isn,t you give up this crazy scheme now please for me your best mate", she replied "Sean I love you dearly as a friend but its none of your business what I do and I,d appreciate it if you just let me do what I,ve planned ok". Sean gave her a hurt look and went back to the bar beside Jason who was stareing goggle eyed at her until Sarah noticed and slapped him "Ow! what was that for"? he said "your my date remember not hers" Sarah replied Eileen noticed this litte exchange and giggled "oh Sarah she said he always will have a soft spot for her " Sarah flounced out of the rovers quickly followed by Jason who glared at his mum and said "why did you have to make a joke out of it? its going to take ages to calm her down now" Eileen waited until the door closed the erupted in laughter. Steve was on his mobile speaking quietly to someone on the other end "come on then babe lets go clubbing our chariot awaits" as being the gentleman he is as he opened the door for Violet to go out on the street with him and get in to Les,es taxi in walked Tracy and her face looked murderous at the sight of them together.

bless you thank you Jessi and Alyson ok heres the next instalment . Ken and Blanche were sitting with a clear view of the door and both had seen the look on Tracys face when Steve and Violet went out and both were worried about it. Ken thought it was bad enough Tracy getting her mum to babysit Amy as she was on bail at the moment for murdring Charlie without Tracy causeing trouble but how could he stop her if she did as he and Driedre had almost gone broke financially for her and was she gratefull ?was she ever gratefull to anyone? as her parents they had to stand by her, he could scarcely afford a pint and was sipping at the one he had bought as it had to last him all night unless of course Blanche bought a round in which was rare. Blanche looked at Ken and knew exactly what he was thinking and said "she,s trouble that one but shes our trouble, what do you make of Steve and Violet going out like that when shes dressed like a hussy as well? how do you think they met and when?" Ken kept quiet and kept watching Tracy with Blanche in full flow it seemed the best thing to do . Sean wasn,t happy Fizz noticed as she went to get the next round of drinks in at the bar for her workmates "whats up chuck do you want to talk about it? she asked sympatheticly"Sean gave her a weak watery kind of a smile and shook his head, I bet he,s been chucked again thought Fizz he,s unlucky in love poor Sean as she paid for the drink,s she laid a hand on Seans shoulder "when you want to talk love I,m hear for you" she said then made her way back carefully with the loaded tray of drinks to the girls table. |

Eileen had noticed Sean wasn,t happy in the rovers after he had talked with Violet and after he came home she gave him a hug and asked him what was the matter? Sean wanted to tell her but he couldn,t as he had given his word to Violet plus he had seen both Steve and Violet returning to her house both more than a little tipsy he was feeling sick at heart because she was carrying out her crazy scheme,and he had seen the look Tracy had given them Sean wondered what she would do as he knew she was out on bail and after what had happened to Charlie he was scared., he was sleepless that night in bed with thoughts raceing through his mind what if Violet got pregnant as she planned she might risk her life to have the baby , who would stand by her when she needed someone? Sean would in a second but didn,t think Violet would let him . Violet and Steve had had a wonderfull night just after they got out of the Taxi and Steve had instructed Les to be ready for his phone call to bring them back to Violets house, they had waited until Les had driven off and shared a breath takeing kiss together then chatted and both had agreed as it was early day,s for romance that they both wanted a good time. as they kissed again Steve thought after his past as he thought of Karen he was so heartbroken after his marridge had dissolved and Tracy had been an almighty mistake he had made in his past yet Amy had made up for that she was the only good thing to come out of that relationship and he knew what had happened to Violet no-one had suspected she was pregnant with Jasons baby not even Eillen who was more than heartbroken in the office when she heard from one of the drivers that Violet had miscarried it .

next morning Violet woke up with a kiss from Steve who was already dressed and had leaned down to kiss her as she looked into his blue eyes he said " I,ve gotta run I,ll see you later babe " , Violet got dressed and again on the doorstep they put they,re arms around each other and kissed and it was a none rushed one . Norris again witnessed it and with his armsfull of papers went back into the Kabin "muttering disgusting shouldn,t do that in the morning" to Rita who wondered what he was on about. Sean had seen them by accident as he walked to work and now he was more upset than ever and made up his mind to go to Violets in his break to tell her exactly what he thought of her even if he did upset his friend he was determined she would listen to him this time. but another pair of eye,s were watching and the watcher had a evil grin on her face , I,ll make you pay, I,m going to make you pay thought Tracy.

over the next few day,s Tracy watched them and kept smileing as she carefully started to plan. Sean went determindly to Violets door and knocked rather loudly upon it when she answered he asked if he could go inside? as he didn,t want to make a scene on the street, "sure why not" she said Sean entered her house and as he went into the liveing room "Hello Mate " said Steve who was sitting in the comfy armchair , Sean then drew Violet aside and hissed "what are you playing at? stop acting like a two bit hussy with no drawers on, have a bit of pride for godsake woman what the hell is he doing here? no wait I don,t want to know, Violet have you no shame? a baby isn,t worth it , if Tracy catchs hold of you you idiot!. if you don,t stop acting like this you,ve lost me as a friend" with that Sean turned smartly to the door and left in a fast walk, he headed towards Eileens with tears in his eyes there was no-way he was going to work today. "what,s the matter with him?" a puzzled Steve asked after Sean left "I only said Hello", Violet didn,t answer she felt sorry but knew Steve was for her and now she wasn,t going to give him up no matter what.

day by day Tracy watched and had to carefully plan as she didn,t want to make any mistakes as she had done with Charlie. she mentally noted the time Steve went in and out of Violets and how loveing each greeting and farewell was and silently seethed inside but smiled at them from her post behind the curtains. Eileen was really annoyed because she couldn,t get Sean to tell her why he was so upset but was being patient in the hope he would tell her soon she phoned Steve on his mobile to let him know she wasn,t going into work today she was ill she said and ended the call but she knew Sean needed a friend today and that friend was going to be her . in the taxi office Lloyd was almost bursting as he wanted to find out just why was Steve so smug and happy with himself these days he seemed to be comeing in late to work always smileing and whistling daft tunes had he got another buisness partner or something? where was Eileen this morning who was going to answer that phone? he had already got Les and the other drivers organised this morning and he had to go out soon as he had promised to take Kelly shopping in her dinnerbreak to get that dress she had her eye on , at that moment he heard someone whistling and knew that Steve had arrived, "good morning Mate" Steve said cheerily to Lloyd "good afternoon you mean don,t you"?"and Eileen isn,t here" came his grumpy reply "yeah I know she,s not well she phoned me" Steve said "well thats just great you could have told me before now! so I could get Les or someone to do her job " replyed Lloyd "whos manning the phone etc? because I can,t and I,ve gotta go now but Steve we gotta talk mate and soon !".
