How pats feels about Corrie is how I feel about EastEnders. It`s really gone down the pan. I haven`t seen EE since Sharon and Dennis came back into it - it shows ytou how long ago it was since I watched it.

I havent seen it for 10 years CorrieGirl - I used to sometimes watch it with my folks back home but gave up on it as it was crap.

Thought you said you'd never seen it, Jezziekins.
I'm still watching EE, CG. Never thought I would still be after 8 months. I hate the BBC Cockney accents and the unrealism of it all but it's more entertaining than Corrie and I even care about the characters - well most of them.

We had this out on the Barbara group ages ago remember? I said i used to sometimes watch with my family when I was young, up to the Mid 1990s but was never all that keen on it. Ive not seen an episode for 10 years because I hate it.

To me, EE went down the pan when Stacey Slater arrived. It was so obvious she was a replacement for Kat...and a poor replacement at that. She may be popular with the teens but I just can`t abide her. She seems to think that scowling and shouting through her lines makes her convincing. It doesn`t.

But didn't you say on DS you'd never seen it?
I quite like Stacey. I hate little Mo. Crap actress Kacey Ainsworth. Not as bad as KF but close. How the hell did she win all those acting awards?

Thought you said the awards were meaningless. It seems you only think they mean something when Corrie dont win!

They are meaningless these days. I don't care who wins but Corrie don't deserve it.

Well of course I am. I have great loyalty to the show having watched it for the best part of 20 years and its been my fave for all that time.

I agree completely Jezzo. I`ve been a fan for more than 30 years, and even though I am unable to watch it right now i read anything and everything I can about it. Even through it`s bad times (and boy there have been bad times), I still stick with it. EastEnders on the other hand, I`ve completely given up on. I honestly don`t care at all about the show, I don`t even bother reading spoilers. But the spoilers Pats puts up on Fridays of Corrie, I always look forward to. And Emmerdale. That`s why this site is a huge treat for me. As well as great people, the site is superb I am also a big fan of Neighbours....I absolutely love it....especially Paul Robinson, he`s my fave....as well as Harold, Susan, Lyn and Lou

You're not missing much, CG, by all accounts. Still far too many characters in ridiculous storylines. I'm really surprised I didn't go back to it like Nick did.
I'm really annoyed with myself for missing so much Neighbours since I got back. I was determined to see all the ones I missed out there and then afterwards but have been busy doing other things as well as still catching up with Emmerdale! I'm back to over a week behind again now.

It was bloody good when I was in Australia. I was enjoying the neurotic Paul Robinson and wished I could have seen more of it. Even in Kalgoorlie they were a week behind.

My dad watches Neigbours. God knows why. I used to love it in the early days, and dipped in and out during the 1990s.

I loved Neighbours and watched it religiously from 85-89. I was never able to watch it again til 2003 when the Oxygen Channel started showing it from the old 2000 eppies when the Scullys first came into it.... I got hooked on it all over again I would be in 7th heaven if I could watch Sons and Daughters again...i really did love that show. Ditto with The Sullivans.

I used to as well but then went off it. I had a penpal in Brisbane at the time and loved the TV Week she sent with Madge and Harold's wedding on the cover a year before we had it. I could show off! LOL! I dip in and out these days.

I used to love Sons and Daughters, CorrieGirl. Excellent series. In many way Home and Away these days is very much like Sons and Daughters was.
