People are sick of having 5 episodes of Coronation Street a week. They say they are bored of the stories. Now are they just moaning or do they really mean it?
Are people really getting fed up. Hence this poll. How faithful are we remaining to Britain's longest running TV soap

I'm abstaining from voting at the moment because if I put 5, it'll be wrong since so far I've only bothered to be bored to the verge of suicide 3 times this week.

Yes 3 a week is enough. But id still watch every episode no matter how much they showed. When it was on 8 episodes that week I watched them all.

I moan a lot about it being on too much. But I still would not miss an episode, even though I sometimes read the paper while watching. Knowing my luck, if I missed an episode, that would be the one that everybody talked about. ;D

LOL! I don't think I will watch it tomorrow. And the fight with Mad Dog and Ashley on Monday looks totally missable.

Just read something about the actor who plays Diggory.
His contract expires in November. ;D

Do you know I don't know who Diggory is? I don't know who Nathan is (well barely). I know of the twins but not enough about them to comment. It just shows how much I've been paying attention. I am for the first time since Mike went on holiday make an effort to record the omnibus this afternoon so I can FF wind through it and get up to speed on what is going on and see if it really is as bas as you/me are all saying.

Diggory Compton or Copton is the baker, he owns the bakery which used to be Sallys Hard Ware store. He came into it when all the shop keepers were campaigning to be chairman of the wetherfield traders association Apparently next month his daughter Holly comes into corrie, played by ex emmerdale actress VICKY BINNS

I'd have to vote for 3 times and sometimes goes down to once a week! I always miss wednesday night's episode and I used to tape it but now I just can't be bothered too. Last monday's episode was so ridiculous it made me laugh (tracey/steve). Lately Emmerdale has been really good so i try and watch all the episodes of that.

KF's is supposed to be up soon. It's well known itv.com take stuff from papers. They quoted the Sun last week with the Bill Roache thing. Yet you'd think they're have inside knowledge being ITV, wouldn't you?

I never miss it. When we were catching up a few months ago, we had 8 episodes a week and it was wonderful! I miss the extras now.

Yes. Although this has rapidly replaced it. I only missed 3 during those 9 months. I've missed 4 so far this year.

The soap seems to be a load of crap right now and not really worth watching at the moment.

It is. Jean Alexander is right but has been slated, saying she's old-fashioned. Usually she does come across that way but this time she is spot on. I know several people who have stopped watching over the past few months or are on the verge of it. They're complacent and arrogant up there. This is why I hope EE wins all awards there are because no matter how bad they are, it's two fingers up to the Corrie bosses who stick two fingers up at the viewers.
