Eps which go with the previous two releases including the ones after the fire. The extra disc is four recently found eps from 1976 in omnibus format.

I see the list of episodes is now on Network's website. Nothing from Central's era.

I bought the Crossroads volume 2 DVD set and there were a couple of Central episodes on that featuring Mr Paul and Kath Brownlow and John Latchford

I'm hoping volume 4 will include Nolly's Venice appearances.
I liked Paul Ross. He was great.

Volume 2 probabaly only included the Central episode as it was Jill and Adam's wedding. I want to see the final episode from 1988 but doubt they will include that as its the Kings Oak era.

On the Play.com and Network websites it says the release date is still a week on Monday, so I wonder why Amazon says March?

No idea.
I'm sure the last ep will be on as it was Crossroads Kings Oak. Maybe the proposed volume 5.

But didnt Network say they wouldnt show any of the Central episodes (even though they showed Jill and Adam's wedding, but that was because it was such a major episode!)

Things can change. They're rapidly running out of ATV ones.

I also heard someone say their copy had been shipped. Wonder why Amazon has the delay?

Maybe because Network cocked up with this limited edition thing. They got them later than other places. There shouldn't be anything limited. It should all be the same.

Bit different watching a few eps to watching it at the time week in, week out. Noele Gordon didn't win the TV Times Personality 8 times in a row for nothing.

Just because she won that award doesnt mean I would enjoy the show more than Corrie! For all we know I might not have even watched Crossroads on a regular basis. We will never know.
All I can say is Corrie is my fave soap ever.

Crossroads was the best. Always was. More popular than Corrie in the 70s. More people around here watched it than Corrie and Emmerdale Farm. There's a very good extra on the DVD they screened as a tribute when Nolly died where she is up against critics who compare to Corrie. She stood her ground very well because there was no comparison. She made it clear they were making a soap opera not a drama, which is what Corrie and Emmerdale have turned into. They worked harder for less pay and a fraction of the budget. Interesting comment she made about bad acting and hard work which actually applies to the soaps today. The only difference is back then they DID rehearse but didn't have a lot of time whereas now they don't at all except before a take.
No we will never know. But it was great.

There isnt time to rehearse today seen as they do so many episodes! ITV's fault for being so greedy!

There is really. If they could on Crossroads when it was 5 then 4 times a week they can. Corrie today is only a couple of mins longer than that was.
