Is Kieran Roberts still around? He was the common denominator with those two. His cohort Daran Little is long gone.

Not exactly coming or going but it seems Hayley Tamaddon has extended her contract.

I hope 'Andrea' gets longer than 6 months. I like her character - she is a million times nicer than misery guts Michelle.

Me too. She and Steve would be good together. I can't stand Michelle.

I`ve never understand that either Pats. Renting a house in Machester is cheaper than London and saves a lot in train fares. Michelle Collins sounds really bitter.

Many comments agree but this was interesting:
St.. James, White Sands, Barbados, 1 day ago Absolute rubbish, she didn't fit in, and after a chat with the NEW Producer, she handed in her notice....Previous Producer who hired her was a personal friend.

These people really get on my nerves. They know they are going to have to re-locate or travel to the job. So why do they winge when that happens? The same happened to Amanda Donohoe in Emmerdale...she complained of the cold and snow...It's Yorkshire for goodness sake

From DS etc
Krissi Bohn is set to leave Coronation Street.
The actress, who plays Jenna Kamara, will depart screens this summer after two years in the role.
Jenna was first introduced as Lloyd's (Craig Charles) daughter in September 2012 alongside mother Mandy Kamara (Pamela Nomvete).
"I have enjoyed every single moment of my time on The Street," the actress said.
"Although I am disappointed not to have my contract renewed I am thankful for all the experience I've gained and look forward to whatever the future may hold."
Producer Stuart Blackburn also praised the actress, adding: "It is with great regret that we're saying goodbye to Krissi, she's a wonderful person and a great actor who has played a key role in some fantastic stories. We wish her all the very best for her future."
A nice refreshing change for a soapie to admit they have been axed rather than always wittering on about going on to bigger brighter things!

If she`s as great as SB makes out to be, then why is she leaving? I like Jenna, I always have. With Jennas past job as a physiotherapist, she could have gotten her licence back and worked at the gym. It`s just pure laziness by the scriptwriters. I`m still furious that she lost her job because of Sophie bleeding Webster and Kevin. If Sophie hadn`t pursued her like she did when she was a patient, Kevin wouldn`t have interfered and Jenna wouldn`t have lost her job. Sophie could have waited til she was no longer Jennas patient. But no, it`s always about her and her needs. It`s the same with Maddie. I wish Sophie and Maddeh would sod off to Devon to live with Maddehs brother, and give our ears a break from all that cowing screeching.

From DSCoronation Street bosses have announced that Wendi Peters is returning to the show as Fiz and Chesney's outrageous mother Cilla Battersby-Brown. Cilla will be back on screen for a guest stint, appearing back in Weatherfield for six weeks from October. While the full storyline details are being kept under wraps for now, Cilla's shock comeback will lead to Fiz's temporary departure from the show as actress Jennie McAlpine will go on maternity leave in the autumn. Speaking of her return, Peters commented: "I'm really thrilled to have the opportunity to revisit Cilla and the cobbles for a short while and to see what she has been up to for the last seven years." Coronation Street's producer Stuart Blackburn added: "We can't wait to see Cilla back on the cobbles, she's a truly unforgettable character who is at the heart of Corrie's rich history." Not sure how I feel about this really, she'll put the cat among the Pigeons that's for sure

Oh no! Cilla is one of those grotesque 'comedy' characters who isn't quite funny enough, and is too awful to like. Let's hope she doesn't dominate too much during her 'guest stint' and that she leaves permanently afterwards.

Speaking of 'rich history', I'd maybe like to see her and Beth crossed up being sort of similarly stroppy characters, and to remind us a bit of Ena and Hilda if not Ena and Elsie.

Julie Walters could be good - but I hope the part they're writing for her is a proper, meaty dramatic part, something original. I know she is an excellent comedy actor - but I hope they don't just knock up a Mrs Overall or a 'Two Soups' type, that would be really lazy.

Oh, no. It will be dreadful. Is she 'secretly' related to Beth? There's definitely a resemblance.
