Sick and tired of greasy whining loser Peter Barlow. Ok so he didn't kill Tina, but he has behaved in such an abominable and cowardly manner over the last couple of years he deserves all he gets. Fed up of seeing him and Jim Macdonald in the prison scenes. Hope it's over soon. Looks like Tracy is starting to realise the effects of behaving like a cold calculating heartless bitch - her daughter is a chip off the old block. Will she start to soften? Glad Eccles was spared the chop.

I can't believe Eva took Todd in, and then said it was for Jason... but I'm liking Tim a bit better even though I don't see why someone couldn't bring him his ladder for just long enough to get down. But I think they just wanted to show off the latest outdoor set with another scene they could never have done on the previous ones.
I was really down on Corrie for awhile but I've been kept watching lately and without any hyper-drama torn from the headlines. Tracy almost seemed human for a few shows for one thing. Liz looks so much sharper in the violets and hot pinks than in those sparkly sometimes strange black things she often wears... and I thought Audrey's hair was looking great recently, nice to see some stylin' on the street!

I am finding the new Kylie SL of no interest. I also fing Kal's mother very irritating. Corrie is really going downhill for me at the moment.
I am enjoying the Tim SL though.

I really enjoyed the scene last night between Emily and Yasmeen talking about their different religions, and how some passages in the Bible and Koran are similar. A wonderful scene.

Khal's son Zee has got really angry eyebrows - he really should get them sorted. 15 minutes with the tweezers would make him look a lot less aggressive. However the problem of his daddy disrespecting his murdered mother's memory by shagging a battle-scarred ex call girl is less easily solved. No wonder he's angry - he could wind up with Leanne as his step mum, and poor long suffering Simon as his step brother. He should have a chat with David Platt about how boys react when the sins of the fathers/ step parents/ in laws etc rebound on the children. I predict conflict.

I really enjoyed the scene last night between Emily and Yasmeen talking about their different religions, and how some passages in the Bible and Koran are similar. A wonderful scene. My dad had that same conversation with a Baptist Minister friend in Devon. My dad's Catholic. All these religious books have the same origin, similar stories, similar everything including how women are treated.

I have a Qur-an/Koran from many years ago and was quite surprised when it was first given to me by how much it shares with our Christian bible... obviously Abraham is a prominent figure, but also Jesus. It's been useful for example to see there is nothing mentioned anywhere about either sex covering their faces, only 'hidden ornaments' are mentioned specifically, unless I've missed something about hair which would only be in line with Catholic women covering their hair in church to show lack a vanity. I've used the Bible to win over some people to 'allowing' same-sex marriage in Canada (through letters in newspapers and to politicians worried about losing votes of the faithful, back when that was not yet the case), but I shrink to try and calm down people by quoting the Qur-an I'm sorry to say. As it was I had a few gay friends thinking I might be a religious crazy for showing familiarity with the Christian Bible (and I've never been quite sure if I even believe in what would be a straight marriage for me personally), oh well. I'm glad if Corrie can do some good and expand communication.
I hope they do get a community center/library of some sort as it would be another location for scenes besides the much abused Bistro! I think we are under a week behind the U.K. now in Canada, an all time record. Once we were over a half a year behind. We seem to get Doctor Who at the exact same times though.

No sooty. In fact I couldn`t care about any of it. I watched Emmerdale last night, but not Corrie - which is a first for me.

So Peter's trial has started. I must say the only credible witness so far has been Roy. His friends giving evidence have done him no favours.!

Why is Reet there? Barb getting used to being in a court room? Speaking of which, when's her drink driving trial?

It`s this month Pats, not sure on the exact date. I just saw Fridays Corrie last night. I would have watched Mondays Corrie and Emmerdale but itv player decided to play silly buggers again and just put the 8.30 episode up without the 7.30 ep. And then do away with Emmerdale completely which is why I went to itv player for in the first place. I hope they buck their ideas up this week with it being Emmerdales anniversary.

Why is Reet there? Barb getting used to being in a court room? Speaking of which, when's her drink driving trial? I was thinking the same - she's never out of a court room! Likewise Ken Barlow/Bill Roache - Ken's on screen family and Bill's real life adventures: he's another one who's no stranger to a wooden bench.

I found all of the Tracy and Rob and Beth and Kirk wedding stuff dragging out forever irritating. You'd think money would be fairly tight for most of these people but they sure do spend on the vacations and weddings and at least reality hit Beth and Kirk finally! Whatever I might think of them as people (and really I don't think about it enough to have much of an opinion), I have to say that Bill Roache and Barbara Knox are almost always excellent as actors! Sue Nicholls is probably under-used and under-appreciated, but despite Richard and Lewis pushing her around Audrey has never become an unbelievable character like Sally and Gail and some others.

I cucrently have a broken foot. When I gave up watching in 2005, I had a broken toe which was less painful than sitting through Corrie. LOL!

Last night at her hen night, Tracey mentioned it will be her 4th wedding. I remember her wedding to Robert Preston where she wore Doc Martins under her dress. I also remember her wedding to Steve McDonald. But I can`t remember another wedding. Was it off screen?
