Audrey sounded awful tonight - she sounds like she's got what I've got: the worse cold I've had in years, now into the third week and still suffering I had that just after christmas, it took weeks to clear up, hope you feel better soon. I loved last nights little meeting with Mary, Sophie and Julie...especially Mary's comment about Dev being thick Poor Faye, especially as her family are so taken up with the Linda stuff they can't see there is something going on with her. I am just wondering how they will cope (especially as Owen won't be around) More scenes with 'manky' teeth. There is no end of him either as he has just signed a 12 month contract...oh joy. I

Me too sooty. No redeeming qualities whatsoever. David should demand a DNA test for Max. And if Callum is the Dad, then David should forge the DNA results somehow. But no doubt Blackburn likes him if we all hate him - hence the 12 month extension. And he`ll probably get redeemed somehow - like Maddeh.

Thanks. It's still lingering - had one course of amoxycillin, which did nothing, and I'm back up the docs on Thursday as I'm still coughing, and still deaf in one ear. Nearly everyone I know has had a long lasting cold this winter

He's a nasty, violent drug pushing scumbag - we're not supposed to like him. Hopefully he'll stay as a minor character, an occasional irritation and not be on screen all the time. With Paula Lane on maternity leave they might run out of material for Callum, and just have him make the occasional phone call. There's no way he'll become a Street favourite or heart throb. Too nasty.

Jenny Bradley is looking good, almost the same as before. Her and Kevin? A bit weird but it might just work. Why does Todd do these things? What does he get out if it by breaking Eva and Jason's hearts? Surely he could have caused trouble for Tony in a less wicked way.

Not surprised to see the real Gavin is a total lowlife, not a lot to choose between him and Callum really.

A couple of good episodes. Poor little Faye, thats the rest of her life sorted out then...teenage mum (although I expect it will be Anna looking after it) I have a feeling it will be this that drives Owen out, although I thought the body language between him and Anna said it all. The young actress did a good job (Far better than I thought she would) I'd like to see Carla and Nick together (Apart from the fact they have a lot in common) I think they would work well. I thought Sarah would get involved with Callum..Her character is a lot stronger than Katie or Kylie's so it will be interesting to see how that pans out. Why in heavens name is Tony with Liz. He and Toxic are much better suited. Sally made me laugh, she is so superior to everyone else yet she always ends up being laughed at. I love Tim though

Some good passionate drama with Owen and Anna - his temper has messed things up again, although Anna always seems to back up Golden boy Gary when HE loses his temper. I feel sorry for the baby - it's the age old story/dilemma: give her up or keep her and face hardship and disapproval. either way - it's not the baby's fault. Tracy has surpassed herself by bullying a suffering child in the street - will she ever grow up? Don't really care about her and Tony as he is just as bad, and Liz is hardly an innocent. When it all hits the fan - a huge collective yawn will be audible all over the country. Bethany and Sarah - annoying immature, spoilt brats the pair of them, a ridiculous matey relationship, not like mother and child. And how come Bethany doesn't speak Italian on the phone to her Italian friends, if she was brought up in Milan?

Well, I`ve finally done it. I`ve joined the ranks of Pats and Nick (and Paul?) and finally gave up on Corrie altogether. I won`t be watching again til that pig Blackburn has gone. He has really ruined Corrie, and I`ll never forgive him for it. It does feel surprisingly liberating I have to admit.

Oh that's a real shame given the amount of time you've dedicated to Corrie down the years. To be driven away like that. I do know how you feel - I abandoned EastEnders some time back and don't miss it a bit. The quality of the most popular programmes in the country has plummeted in recent years and programme makers seem to think we haven't noticed or don't care.

So true Pearly. Yesterday I had a look at some spoilers for April, and something in me just snapped. I thought to myself "Why am I watching this drivel if I don`t enjoy it anymore"? I`ll probably reconsider when SB leaves though. But I have to admit it is like weaning myself off a drug....just not this SB drug though. I`ll still continue to watch the old ones on YouTube. Maybe deep down that`s what really clinched my decision to quit cold turkey. The fact that the eps from 1977 are far superior in writing and acting compared to now. The 2015 are just awful. .

This is the first time I have ever given up on Corrie after watching for many years since I was a little girl. The first Corrie episode I ever remember was the coach crash. I looked it up and I believe it was 1971 when it first went to colour. We didn`t have our colour telly til 1972. Anyway I used to watch it because I used to sneak downstairs when I should have been in bed. Some evenings my Mother had an evening job washing dishes, and my Dad usually had a snooze before he picked up my Mother from work. I used to sneak downstairs, and just peak through a slightly opened door. I had a good line of vision where I could see the telly, and the couch where my Dad was snoozing LOL. As soon as it finished I sneaked back upstairs. After about a year of doing this, I`m sure my Dad must have twigged what I was doing. And he used to leave the door open a bit more. Then when I was about 8 or 9 we had a later bed time, and we had to be in our nighties watching it, and then "straight up the wooden hill to gwhelli (bed) when the credits started rolling.

I too have given up watching Corrie after being a viewer since episode 1. I just can't stand most of the characters and the story lines are dreadful. Sarah Lou and Bethany plus the thought of Anna shrieking was the last straw. Why should I torture myself anymore. So goodbye Corrie.

The trouble is with Corrie (Apart from some exceptions, usually the 'oldies') they take very good characters and totally wreck them. Then the new characters they bring in you wouldn't put out if they were on fire. I won't give up though...I'll persevere

If 'Gavin' was one of the witnesses at Gail and Michael's wedding, and he signed the register as Gavin - would that make the marriage null and void?

What is it with Jenny. Is this the next street psycho? She's definitely two sandwiches short of a picnic.

Okay, so, I've read that Carla scuttles Tracy's plans to become landlord. My guess is that Carla offers Michelle the money to pay Tony back, thereby eliminating the need for Steve to sell his half of the pub. That's the only thing I can thing of that ruins Tracy's plans. Not that it matters with everyone and their brother jumping ship. When oh when will the powers that be realize Blackburn ruins this show every time he shows up??

So two more stopped. It really is a shame it's so bad. It should never have 1) gone more than 3 eps a week and 2) not tried being EE which itself was a rip off of Brookie and Corrie.

I have just read that 'twisted' Tracey sets fire to the block of flats trying to kill Carla !!! ... all the soaps have gone to pot..most people, when not getting the Rovers, would have said ..'ahh well there are other pubs in Manchester' ... not the soaps, they have to go on some revenge fuelled murdering spree .... no wonder people are over reacting to the smallist thing in real life when they see this rubbish
I still stand by my belief that TV and film makers need to take more responsibility over what they show
