Surely Peter Armitage (Bill) can't be so unlucky as to be axed for a third time?
I have never owned a pestle and mortar in my life !!
There will have to come a time when Rita WILL retire..same with Betty it just isn't realistic to have a 90+ year old barmaid or an 80+ newsagent (not that Rita is that old yet)

I think if he was axed it would have been in the papers. They can't keep anything quiet. That's what you think. Betty is actually younger than Reet. Reet's 6 million and 28 which is why she's trying to look 10. Patsy

I have never owned a pestle and mortar in my life !! So obvious it was there just for that one scene. As if that family would have one. !!

Betty is 88 - wonder if she will still be working at the Rovers when she is 90!

Wow how handy was that to have a pestle and mortor right in the kitchen when Theresa decided to grind up those pills!!! ;D I hope Bill doesn`t leave Corrie now he and Audrey have split up. There is still a lot of mileage left in his character. And he does have ties in the street what with his bilding contracter business and also Kev, Sal and the girls too. I wish they would bring back Sue Devine as Debbie Webster. She was such a terrific character and I really liked her. Totally agree CG - she is in at least 1 episode on the 80s box set and was a great character.

Hubby is 6ft 2 and I`m 5ft 1. Hubby admitted a few years ago that if I had been a few inches taller he wouldn`t have married me as he likes to feel protective of me. awwww ;D

And my 13 year old son is taller than me My 10 year old son is the same height as me! (5'2") All males in my family are tall, I'm a little squirt! It's true that tall men often feel protective of smaller women, but usually those women make up for lack of height by having strong personalities and by being the Boss in the home.

Aye it was good to see Jed Stone....makes you wonder why he never came to see Minnie if he had lived round there for 40 years..although I guess some of the time would have been in Strangeways Prison lol
Does anyone know if he is going to be going onto the Corrie set and meeting up with Ken and Emily (the only 2 who would remember him)

Don't think so going by the spoilers. But surely he would have visited after coming out as you say. Remember, Eddie landed on Minnie after Jed told him about 'Ma' and they met inside. I think the writers have forgotten that. If he stayed in Weatherfield and wasn't a jailbird again then he'd never have met Eddie and popped up before.
Reading the spoilers is what makes Tony remind me of Richard Hillman. And look who's suspicious again - Norris.

LOL! Well it may be because Reet's 'selling up' against his wishes but he's very hostile and was before she agreed. Richard wouldn't let anyone stand in his way and neither will Bug-Eye. The only difference is Richard did it for his family not to line his pocket.

Do you really think Rita will sell up ? I don't. I reckon they will just drag it out ( like they do with all the storylines ) until we are heartily sick and tired of it.
