LOL! Well it may be because Reet's 'selling up' against his wishes but he's very hostile and was before she agreed. Richard wouldn't let anyone stand in his way and neither will Bug-Eye. The only difference is Richard did it for his family not to line his pocket. Patsy I think that is what makes this storyline interesting that Tony will stop at nothing and is doing it all for his own greed. Last nights was good - it was good to see Rosie make Carla nervous now! Especially when she mentioned the lovely Liam! Also re Jed - yes Eddie came to stay with Ma (Minnie) Christmas 1974 and was Jed's cellmate so Jed must have been in prison at that point.

The archivist is either stupid, lazy or they don't let facts get in the way of a story. Unless they're counting his prison terms as living there 40 years. LOL!

Yep. One day we'll be shocked and they go. LOL! Course by then they'll have cried wolf so much (or in Reet's case got so many hopes up) no one will care.

Deirdre is such a stupid narrow-minded silly cow. OK so Ken got a bit carried away but she was so jealous and spiteful to him - she should have encouraged him, been proud that her husband was achieving his life's ambition, not stamping her foot like a brat. I'm so annoyed that Ken burnt his book - and the silly turkey-necked old bag still left him anyway. If I were Ken I'd change the locks and start another book, and to hell with her.
Tina can do so much better than David, I hope they don't get back together. The Steve/Becky/Michelle pantomime continues - does anyone care?
It looks like Molly and Tyrone's wedding plans may be affected by Stony Gordon's sabotaging of the garage, that would be a terrible shame.

When will Steve get a spine ...he is acting so guiltily..wise words from Eileen (as usual) mm I did think Deirdre overeacted...poor Ken giving up on his book And I still don't think even Becky would be so sensless to work at the Rovers with all that has gone on

Hopefully very, very soon, when he gives Michelle an ultimatum, along the lines of:- 'Toe the line, or GET AHT OF MY PUB (a la Peggy Mitchell)'.

Tinas Dad (Joe?) has the look of Des Barnes about him. In some scenes the likeness is very uncanny. Yet in other scenes, he looks nothing like him. Weird. I think he`s lovely, and hope we get to see him for quite a while. As much as I love Gail and always want to see her happy, a pairing of Joe and Mollys Auntie Pam would be fantastic.

I quite like Gail and Joe together - he seems like a great character and quite easy on the eye too! He sounds like John Stape though.

I agree that he's OK, but unfortunately, this means many scenes of Gail in embarrassingly awful 'Simpering Schoolgirl' mode.

Last nights was ok but the Steve and Michelle stuff is seriously boring now. After a month of arguing they are suddenly back together and Michelle asks Steve's permission to go away - since when has Michelle had to ask Steve permission for anything!

Quite agree - sooooo tedious, and such a shame - I really liked this pairing when it first came about.

So Steve got away with it? He convinced Michelle that the two of them were equally guilty, as he slept on some girl's sofa, and she let a male friend kip on the sofa. BUT HE DIDN'T SLEEP ON SOME GIRL'S SOFA - HE WAS IN BECKY'S BED, BEING UNFAITHFUL TO MICHELLE.
Good on her for going singing on tour. If Steve does it once he'll do it again, since he got away with it. He should have confessed, grovelled, thrown himself on her mercy - and THEN magnanimously wished her well on the tour. And is she taking Ryan on tour? Or is Steve looking after him? What about Alex? Will he be informed where his mother is? This storyline has dragged and dragged for weeks and been really boring - now they dismiss it with a load of unanswered questions.
The scenes in the posh hairdressers with David and Tina were very good, even the OTT reaction by Peter and Paul was well done.
I agree blackcatz - Gail is excrutiatingly giggly and embarrassing when she fancies someone, it's Phil Nail all over again.
Auntie Pam is still not growing on me - the scenes of all those tubs of nasty pickle in Molly's front room did nothing to endear her to me. EE had old Mo Slater peddling knock off gear the same day she arrived, and this Pam is very similar. She has potential as a character - I just wish they'd drop the dodgy goods angle, because it's getting on my nerves.

That was a nice touch. Tony is really turning into a nasty piece of work now - reminded me a lot of Richard Hillman and Duggie tho, but at least Tony called the ambulance before Jed died.
Im not sure where that room suddenly appeared from? It looked like a kitchen in there as well. I assume they have living quarters upstairs in the Rovers for Michelle and Steve.
