Also showing Jed has a cat was a nice touch as we know Minnie loved cats.

I said the other week about being reminded of Richard just reading the spoilers. Nice to see it wasn't my imagination.

I am worried about what will befall that little cat, he just dumped it on the street. Did anyone else notice how carefully Tony got into the drivers seat of his car. ? and how he supported his weight on one hand when he squatted down to check on Jed. It was only the fact I know he has a hip problem that made me notice it.

I'm getting a bit sick of 'Tony Gordon Street'. I hope they hurry up and reach his dastardly moustache-twirling climax of evilness and get it over with. I agree it's all getting a bit Hillmanesque, and especially so soon on the heels of Devil boy Platt's nasty reign of weirdness, it's all a bit OTT.
The room Michelle and Steve were talking in looked like a kitchen to me, too. I don't think I can remember ever seeing the Rovers's kitchen - maybe that's where Betty does all her hotpots, but it was a bit cosy with sofas and stuff, too comfy for a working pub kitchen.
The scenes with Roy and Becky were good, I'm glad he's going to take her under his wing again. No doubt she'll let him down again, but that's another storyline.

The Rovers kitchen was shown in the 80s when Alec and Bet ran it and they had to get new equipment to serve food. It's probably been seen since but was fairly big that time.

It was a nice touch Jed having photos of Minnie, and having Jed call his cat "Sunny Jim" which Minnie used to call Jed.

As much as it is good to see Jed back...I am fed up of Tony and his evil ways plot already..it is so predictable And Rita always sees the best side of villains its odds on that Norris will tell her what a baddie he is and Rita will belittle him in the Kabin in front of everyone

But he's already against him so that's bound to come.
I think the problem is we've seen it all before. Replace a type with a type and they keep recycling ideas because they have none.

have just caught up with Sundays episode (we had visitors over the weekend) I hope Margi Clarke isn't back for good..I really liked her in makin' out...but she seems to really overact and overdo the 'scouseness' in Corrie

Yes - she's awful, but hopefully that's the last we'll see of her.
Good stuff from Molly and Tyrone tho' - I think these two make an excellent, believable couple.
Getting bored with David and Tina - Tina deserves far better than Ronseal Boy, and the actress deserves far better material.

Have a mind slip back to pre-October 1989. LOL! Patsy Ah yes Pats, those were the days. The decade of the wonderful Bet, and the era that I loved the colour of Reets hair/wig. Oh I could just revel in Alans menace towards Reet, the Duckworths at each others throats, the Websters before the kids came along, and Reet in the Kabin without Norris. *sings* the times they are a-changing

CG, LOL! Yes those were the days. When you look back there is a huge difference between Corrie then and now, especially in storylines and characters. The characters were well-rounded so you could easily imagine them doing this, that and the other. Not these days because there's too many and they're ignored.
Nick, sky high bill then? LOL!

Mel Morton has got a neck like a giraffe - I couldn't concentrate on her emotional scenes, I kept expecting her to start eating leaves off the trees. Where have I seen that doctor woman before? Was it Blake's 7 or Space 1999, or some old sci fi thing?
Sean's jealous hissy fit with Marcus is a laff - he wasn't that bothered not so long since when he was jumping into the sack with Michelle's boyfriend, the two-faced little tramp.
The spectacle of Dev and Nina being 'sexy' was stomach-churning, especially when he was sprawled on the bed in a bath robe. I feel grubby just thinking about it.

Is her name somehting like Zena Merton?
I think the 2 that play Mel and Daryl are quite good actors once they are given something to get their teeth into
