Deano is well and truly back and hiding knock off phones in the washing machine. If it was money it would be literal laundering. LOL! Stan ended up getting arrested. I like Stan but can't work out still if he's causing trouble or being nice. He's definitely up to something and it seems like some sort of revenge on Shirley.
NuLucy is getting to the end of her life. Ruined character. Now someone knows about her and Mux.

Lucy done for shoplifting and has drugs in her jewellery box??? Old Lucy I can believe but NuLucy has less personality than my toenail so I don't. But you can tell it's all leading up to her death, though wouldn't if they hadn't mentioned it. All cracks about Ian and coffins. Now she's doing naughties with Lee with Jake watching. Is he a perv???
DL never learnt a damn thing when he'd write about Reet's cruises and can't get it right now. Again, Kim Skypes her sister with perfect connection. It's the middle of the sodding ocean and absolute crap! You're lucky if you get it sodding connecting at all never mind keeping it on.
LOL at Les offering to size up Stan for a coffin.

So that's the end of NuLucy and sadly the character they ruined by casting someone who can't act and changing the character from a gobby bitch to a wimp. I could actually believe Lucy did drugs and stuff if Melissa Suffield was still playing the part, or they'd cast someone to carry on in that mould. But Hetti was too wooden to be convincing even as a bitch. She delivered every line exactly the same. There were photos of her entering a building. Red herring or flashback? Soon find out - or not!
The return of Libby was brief. Pointless really since all Denise said was she didn't want to marry Ian.
The rest was padding.
Shame I'm away next week just as it all kicks off. Can't catch up until the 4th but it looks fantastic. Adam Woodyatt is always a superb actor when it comes to tragedy.

Just caught up. Crikey, this Lucy murder stuff is like a melodrama. I liked the Ian and Baldy stuff. Also David sussing Max shagged NuLucy to his denials was good writing.

Deano is back! I never noticed the resemblance between Timothy West and Danny Dyer before tonight. Sometimes Timothy looked like an older version. Stan really is a wiley old devil, stirring it for Surly.
Baldy cried again with Ian. And Benny Elliott is free! But where is he? Surely he would have seen the news about his niece and contacted Ian.
Don't think Jake's the one wot dun it. Too obvious.

I am just soooooooooooooo loving Stan! He can be a charming old duffer and an evil bastard. Timothy West has given the character so much depth. Does he really want Dean back as part of the farmleeee and for him and Surly to put things right OR is he shit stirring to cause Surly more suffering? You never know with him because he's so complex. But now we know it WAS her who tried drowning Mick. Oh dear. That'll cause ructions!
In other news, Benny Elliot is in touch with Jay but won't see Baldy, Abi has noticed finally Jay is practically in Lola's onesie and Peter didn't shag Fishface.

That was one hell of a pillow NuLucy's head was on in the coffin. If she'd been alive she'd have an an awful pain in the neck. Why was there a camp bed in the chapel of rest? Rather convenient for NuPeter to lie in so he doesn't leave his other half. She was also sorted by the undertaker bloody fast. My mum wasn't embalmed and they put a gauze cloth over her when we visited. Her hair was also wrong. NuLucy was all pristine in less than an hour!

Christian is back this week! I love of Dominic Treadwell-Collins is getting brief returnees. It's more realistic seeing family members. I'll always remember Madge Bishop's funeral in Neighbours where none of her kids attended.
Now Mick has sussed Stan lied about his almost drowning. Ooh er.

Good episode but the scenes were far too short due to cutting between the funeral and Carters. So two reveals - Surly tried to drown Mick and Mux shagged NuLucy and is no longer welcome, says Baldy and Alfie. High time he was castrated.

So Mick is Surly's son! It was pretty obvious by the way she is with him rather than Tina. Linda of course would never been good enough for Surly's ickle boy. It was even more obvious tonight with her drunken whining about her son since she was devastated she had to confess she nearly drownded him.

Everyone is saying that but I don't think Stan's the father and his wife left not long after Mick nearly drowned. Then Mick and Tina went into care. It's thought he's 37 from the mickcarter77 email address and so Shirley would have been about 14 when she had him. Poor Deano just wants his mum, and even Baldy went for a shave to talk sense into him, but she's too obsessed with Mick. I liked Mick and Shirley as siblings but there were subtle signs she was his mum. Timothy West is fabulous. I just love Stan. You don't know if he's stirring or being genuine.
I'm really enjoying most of EE now and have gone back to looking forwward to the next ep. I caught up with 2 weeks in one afternoon whereas last year I'd just skip it. It still has some utter shite, especially the brats like Shitney and Fishface and NuLucy's death, but generally has improved. Dominic Treadwell-Collins has done a great turnaround.

But a surprise visitor in the form of Honey!!!! She's been talked about often and we see Janet and William but it was good having her bring them this time. DTC is getting good keeping secrets. She wants to tell him something though. You can see it.
I wish it was Thursday already. Loving EE right now.

Only 5 characters in tonight's. Carol is a cow and it's no wonder she's still on her own. Yesterday was such an anti-climax really, but the wedding had been ruined by it being leaked Michael French was leaving again. So everything was going through the motions and they got nasty with each other while he was recovering for a heart attack. Tonight was fantastic! Michael French is one of the best actors this show's ever had. He's an absolute natural. I got tears when they started getting upset after he put Misty Blue on the turntable (the record he hunted down over half of London, leading to his heart attack). Carol deserves it. David will be missed. Pity he couldn't have taken Bianca with him instead of making us put up with her months more.
